AIDS is caused by the HIV retrovirus, which mutated from the SIV retrovirus that originated in African monkeys. The SIV-positive monkeys were hunted by humans for food, they came into contact with the monkeys' blood containing the virus, which then attacked their immune systems, mutated into a form deadly to humans. Hey presto, HIV is born, and therefore AIDS. No government involved, just zoonosis.
omg i just watched life of brain, and at the ending they had the song always look on the bright side of life, and i was thinking they'd definately sing this song if Brian died or anyone one of the phytons.
