I was at this concert, in front, this was my favorite set out of all. Fall of Troy was ok and Deftones just played too many damn songs. This band did it right, play a good number of songs and leave.

They were supposed to come back in early april and do the clash against commercialism show in NYC but the bands they were gonna be touring with had some problems securing Visa'a and some other scheduling conflicts. I have been a Dir En Grey fan since I was 14 I am now 23 and I love all thier music. I saw them live In 2007 at the inward scream tour in Chicago and we tore the place apart. Me and five of my buddys left bloody like KYO ;) I have never seen a better live show in my enitre life.DEG4l!

ehm, the cd's being sold for $14 at Hot Topic or elsewhere in stores are made and distributed by Free-Will America, meaning they're not imported. Hot Topic can't do anything about Vulgar or earlier being cheaper, they have to be imported so you're still gonna pay $40. I paid almost $50 for Macabre at the Virgin Records Megastore in Orlando. Nothing you can do about it. CD's in Japan are more expensive, so that's something you need to come to terms with.
Quality was mediocre but still liked it. It must be hard trying to keep the camera straight and get good settings when everyone is around you jumping like chickens with their heads cut off.

I was there on Saturday, June 9th. My gf is a fan and she brought me to see them. Un-freaking-believable. Such an awesome experience. I so wanted to jump into the moshpit, but my gf kept me on the short leash.
I went there! I had a crowd surfer fall on me >< That concert was so awesome, even though the Deftones fans were complete s (as a general comment) and there were some Fall of Troy fans that moshed right next to me and I felt so bad for this girl who kept getting hit by them. The one at the Nokia was better, definitely but it was wonderful to see them again.
The show on the 9th was every bit as good as Nokia's - and at Nokia I overheard someone who has been to like 1290376294 lives say "I've never seen them play like this!" Yeah they were on fire saturday. Looked happy when they left the stage. And KAORU... omg... was beaming like I've never seen him before. It was a relief to see them so happy, after the previous night turning out so badly.

yeah, because right before they played "dead tree," Kaoru's amp didn't work but only getting distortion. So, Kyo improvised for like 3 minutes while technicians were fixing with flash lights; Kaoru didn't seem too happy about it (I wouldn't be happy about it if I were him).
They were also pissed, I'm sure, at the crowd-surfing by Deftones fans (identified by the Deftones tshirts, and the rude comments about Dir as they ran out after being passed up beyond the rail), and the fact that the Dir fans up front were getting hurt because of it. Also the numerous incidents of rude behaviour in general. Kaoru didn't seem too happy? Well if him kicking over an amp on the way offstage is any indication...

projekt revolution is a concert at jones beach theater in august where linkin park, taking back sunday, HIM, My Chemical Romance, and some other bands are going to be playing. the tickets are sold out already and they cost me $78 of my birthday money! now my parents are making me go with my brother :( i dont like my brother.

Btw, I thought Kyo's improv was awesome. I know they weren't happy about the technical issues, but I consider it a sort of happy accident; I love hearing what an awesome vocalist can come up with in a situation like that.
I know that at the show last night they played Repitition of hatred, Grief, Ryojoku no ame, the deeper vileness, The fatal believer, THE III D EMPIRE, Dead tree, The final, a song that sounded like merciless cult to me, but maybe that's just me hearing things ~___~;;, aaand... Aggitated screams of maggots ^^ They also played The pledge at some concerts and might've played Namamekashiki Ansoku, Tomadoi ni Hohoemi at a different concert. God, it was so good *-*~~
Kyo normally takes his shirt off but he doesn't do blood anymore.
Its still makes for a good show.

he did bleed! he fish hooked himself ( ripped open the inside of his mouth aka his cheek flesh with his finger) causing blood to drip out of is mouth but i think he was too pissed off to do more. and why the hell are you disappointed that he did not hurt himself?!?! you know if he does any of the "stabbie stabbie" or "Bleed bleed" wrong he can seriously injure himself and in a serious case have perminant damage or DEATH!!! (sry Painkillers talking again i just took my third dose of the day!)

Yeah...ripping open the skin inside of your mouth wont kill you. Nothing he does is fatal unless he accidentally swallows the safety pin and dies. Kyo's been doing this for, what? 3-4 years? [self mutilation] and the only time hes ever been in the hospital was when he had tonsilitis. You're kind of exaggerating abit.

that may be (it's because im on painkillers for two broken/fractured ribs read other comments for more info on that) but if he accidentially messes up he can cause perminent facial dammage and that would be bad ^_^ (weeeeeeeee hospitals are fun [NOT!])

projekt revolution is a concert at jones beach theater in august where linkin park, taking back sunday, HIM, My Chemical Romance, and some other bands are going to be playing. the tickets are sold out already and they cost me $78 of my birthday money! now my parents are making me go with my brother :( i dont like my brother.

also i have not taken off my dir en grey shirt that i bought (no matter how gross that sounds i dont smell so it doesnt bother me) all the nurses are like dont you want to change and i just smile at them and reply "no thanks im remembering and celebrating my favorite concert ever" then they look at me like im crazy and are like " wtf you almost died! your rib almost caused you to drown in your own blood and youre trying to remember that? something is wrong with you child! and then they walk out

hahahah lol you're funny ^___^ sily nurses don't understand >.> I don't have a diru shirt haha but I made one with chibis on it that I wore until today when my mom physically forced me out of it yelling it smelled like New york sidewalks, beer and weed and I'm like, "NOOOO IT SMELLS LIKE DIRU!" haha XDD;; (ah, okay... my mother cant force this shirt off because she hasnt visited me since saturday. and my fater is off at work untill 10 which is after visiting hours so im all by my lonesome on painkillers watching tv and typing on my laptop which i cant even put on my lap because of my stupid injuries that wont heal untill like 3 weeks (I HATE DRUNK MEN). my friends havent even visited me it makes me sad. :( and i will not have fun with my bro kuz he is bent on making me mizerable!!!

there werent any ambulences my friend is 19 so she drove me to the hospital i dont like attention at all i kinda dont like every one watching me like im a freak show side attraction so. so she layed me in the back of her jeep and drove all the way to the hospital

Btw, I thought Kyo's improv was awesome. I know they weren't happy about the technical issues, but I consider it a sort of happy accident; I love hearing what an awesome vocalist can come up with in a situation like that.

I know that at the show last night they played Repitition of hatred, Grief, Ryojoku no ame, the deeper vileness, The fatal believer, THE III D EMPIRE, Dead tree, The final, a song that sounded like merciless cult to me, but maybe that's just me hearing things ~___~;;, aaand... Aggitated screams of maggots ^^ They also played The pledge at some concerts and might've played Namamekashiki Ansoku, Tomadoi ni Hohoemi at a different concert. God, it was so good *-*~~
