  • And... Boom goes the dynamite. Anyone have a spare pair of pants?

  • *You have became a god,

    -_- fucking grammar issues.

  • @Caroline99941

    *you have become a god

    You're definately one to talk.

  • @YukianaTiasan what does that even mean

  • @FaultyParadise

It means you got the wrong version of the past-tense. That's really all it was.

  • @TheCrossWeBear

You sir, are now a god.

  • Shakespeare.

  • this is a damn good song. oddly enough i found it on accident. i was looking for defy you on playlist.com and it showed up.

  • Now this right here, ladies and gentlemen, this is music. It is an interesting dilemma. It seems as though our society only appreciates no talent hasbins such as Lil Wayne, Justin Bieber, and Lady Gaga. None of those three write their own songs or sing without computer enhancement. Lil Wayne doesn't even sing period, yet he is one of the top money-making artists right now. While genuinely good artists such as this don't recieve half a mention, let alone good pay. It brings a tear to my eye.

  • @TheCrossWeBear

Stop bitching about other artists and enjoy this music.

  • @TheCrossWeBear

ahem, please suck my balls. mr garrison

    no1 cares (:

i hate all those artists too, i just don't waste my time bitching about it.

Listen to Admit it by Say Anything

    maybe you'll get it.

  • @TheCrossWeBear THANK YOU. I could not have said it better myself. Kudos to you, kudos.

  • oh my god. the lyrics are slightly... actually really really really really amazing.

  • i need a napkin... i just came

  • i need a napkin...i just came

  • @iKILL4bloodSPORT

Oh good I'm not the only one.

  • Probably one of the most talented bands ever and these days that's saying hell of a lot.

  • You made a typo in the name broski.

"...Then I defy you, stars." is the correct title.

  • My favorite Sirens song.

  • i <3 TREOS :D

  • I dont see how any 1 can disagree

  • I just bought this album without really listening to TREOS at all or even knowing that they were a bad to begin with 0_o Can anyone tell me what I'm in for when I get it in the mail?

  • One of the best albums ever.

  • @xShinat0x agreed man

  • Hasnt left my CD player in over 8 months.

  • a lotta good music

  • This song.

  • good shit man i bought it just cause they went on tour with bno and became a huge fan. then the sad thign happened, but dear hunters ballin so dats cool with me! YO TREOS GET BACK TOGETHER!

  • an ambiguously gendered duck

  • my favorite album.

just realized this was from romeo and juliet, it went through my head all day afterwards.

  • the vocal harmonies during 1:40 - 1:56 are incredible. listen for it.

  • this song is so awesome! no offence to The Dear Hunter, but TREOS is way better!!! Best band in the world!

  • best part about this....you guys are listening to romeo and juliet.

Then I defy you stars is a famous line in the play.

  • This song is nothing short of amazing!! Thanks for uploading, dodgysteve1!

  • why does it say "to the stars" ???

isnt it just "then i defy you stars"

  • Yeah people always get it it wrong. To be specific it is "...Then I defy you stars"

  • Not specific enough mon ami, you've missed a comma.

    ...Then I defy you, stars

Tsk what a schoolboy error ;)

  • one of the best albums ever

seriously i can listen from beginning to end

    no boring songs

  • A-FREAKING-MAZING.

    XD

  • love this song

  • 3700 view....great song...

  • if you noticed when they start to chorus, it starts "strap on your ballroom vests breath in and dont exhale" but it sounds like (at the same time) someone is screaming like "blind your eyes something" but that part isnt in any of their lyrics in the CD booklet or online. anyone have an idea what they are saying?

  • I think it says 'blur your eyes, bend the lines' . Like the part later where it says it just before the 'where art thou' part. Its at about 1:40 - 1:56

  • it is 'blur your eyes, bend the lines'

  • there is no chorus for this song

  • Also quoted from Cook;

"So it's kind of a commentary on that. It also works on a couple levels. It can be taken as the Greek mythology example with the Sirens that lure sailors in with their singing, so being on the receiving end of those sirens isn't a great thing. It works both ways"

  • "The Receiving End of Sirens" comes from the fact that when police/Ambulance sirens go past, noone ever thinks about where they're going; what's on the receiving end.

    Quoted from Drummer, Andrew Cook;

"Like, thinking about how people never really think what's 'on the receiving end of sirens,' because its such a common thing just to hear the sirens"

"nobody thinks twice about it.. Even though there's so much awful stuff going on in the worldit's kind of like 'out of sight, out of mind"

  • I wonder how they came up wit their name.

  • LOVE THIS BAND.

    There is no genre.

THEY ARE THEIR OWN GENRE :)

  • I asked them to play this at their australia- perth show a few days ago, but they said "nah man fuck that song, we're not playing it" which sucks because its one of my favourites :( but yeah, still totally happy with their set and the band and the whole album :)

  • this ieeess thee sheeeeeett man

  • its brill what are u on about

  • Emo.

    It's not too bad.

  • indeed

  • TREOS is the shit
