Well they are at least predators BUT they dont focus on humans. u have about 99% more chance to get killed on the the trip from home to the sea (by accident for example) than get attacked by a great white while diving.

okay.....it could have done without the theme from 'JAWS' playing in the background, that was just bad taste. as much as i usually admire people who free swim with GWS'...i don't know about these people. it seem's like they were treating it like a game. the water was wonderfully clear,was this filmed in Mexico?, there did'nt seem to be bait in the water to put the shark's in "feed' mode rather than 'patrol' mode. this footage just leaves me very uneasy and concerned.

Sharks aren't harmless, but if you're in one of those tight diving suits, I don't really know but they're called, you remain calm and the shark isn't very hungry and you're a professional, it's not too rare to avoid certain death =p. Brave guys.

@SonnyBoyPics you have more chance of being struck by lightning than attacked by a shark. there are factors that contribute to most shark attacks. like people surfing near seal colonies or fishing in knee deep water with bait around your waist. most attacks are mistakes and they let you go once they realise you're not a seal

I don't recommend people who dont know anything about them go jump in the water but it's not that dangerous to swim with them. They aren't what people describe them as.
