Woolley is such a humble person and he didn't let the win get to his head. I think his personality rubbed off on MTB. They are both little with big hearts. I'll never forget KD 135 (cuz it was my first Derby that I attended) and I met Woolley when MTB ran in the WV Derby. When I handed him the issue of SI to autograph with his horse on the cover, he told me that this was his favorite issue. Thanks to them both for giving me the memories I will never forget.

Mine That Bird , at the Kentucky Derby, was a fluke. He's not that good of a horse.Yet again no TC winner. Oh well, maybe next year.

To do one of the greatest stretch runs in derby history and do do another great one in the Preakness and belmont, there has to be a good horse inside him to just do that. Gicamoe, theres a bigger fluke than mine that bird, but i dont really believe in flukes all that much. Never under estimate anyhorse.

He's an amazing horse. Cannot wait to see him in the Belmont. I normally don't bother watching the Belmont when the Derby winner loses the Preakness, but not his year. This Belmont is different because of this amazing little horse!
