Guys like Aaron Asham and Milan Lucic define toughness. They aren't (yet) in the league with the top tier heavyweights fighting wise, but Lucic just turned 23. He's still hasn't reached his prime yet. Let's see in 5 years how many people want to fight him.
Lucic has been wrecking people since he was 19. He wins far more than he loses.

What Miller did was textbook hockey, every goaltender would take advantage of an idiot play by a forward who can't even handle his own pass. Milan Lucic was the only player on the ice who made a mistake on that play.

It was totally Miller's fault.
First he shouldn't have left the net & touched Lucic's puck. That was his first mistake.
Second, he made no attempt to dive out of Lucic's way. He had no right to take up space in the path Lucic was skating. That's just dumb.
Third, Miller tried to slash him after he got hit. Who does he think he is?
If anybody deserved to be suspended, its Miller.

It's a clean hit IF it's on a player that is not a goalie. There is no rule that says Ryan Miller needs to stay in his crease. There is a rule that says you must try to avoid contact with the goalie and Lucic did the opposite thus making it a penalty and NOT a clean hit. Now it's pretty much open season on goalies this year. Isn't there a rule that players can't deliberately hit goalies whether they are inside or outside the crease? Lucic made NO attempt to avoid Miller. Lucic is a repeat offender, charged a goalie, and that led to an injury. Maybe you were a goalie but you clearly don't know the rules of hockey. He should have been suspended.
