Well.. As it turns out, this movie is going to be close to 3 hours long. The action scenes are a bit expanded from what's in he script. So- I'm going to be posting the film in two parts. The first half will be up in a few weeks. The second half a bit after that. So stay tuned..

And you also told me 3 months ago that you've already written a second script, so does that means that there will be a sequel? =D I really liked the graphic in this one, it makes it feel comic-ish. Only thing is that there are some undone pictures like in 0:28 but hell-this movie is going to be much better than the reboot (I mean c'mon, Garfield is a f*ckin cat!), I can't wait to see it! I think that it'll even get to the news xD

@TheMatrixLogOut Glad you like the flick so far. And yeah I plan to animate the second script as well. I'm mixed on the new movie. I of course hope it's a good movie, but I'm not sure about the approach. I hate the redesign of the costume and don't even see why they'd change it.. I do like that they'll be using webshooters (I do in my movie) But their design is a little weird too. We'll see.

Most good 3D animations comes out of a good big team of animators and takes lots of time. If this guy could make all of this alone, even being shitty compared to commercial works, he could do wonders in a company by creating only parts of the movie, instead of the whole one, so he could spend time to perfect it.

@TheMatrixLogOut I have 20 minutes left to do. Of course, it's the major action scenes so they're the toughest scenes. It's a straight 2.5 hour film same as the Raimi movies. It covers essentially the first year of Peter being Spidey. I've also written a second script and am writing a third. And yeah it'll be done well before June of 2011.

I use mostly 3D Studio Max at this point, although I do also use Maya sometimes for modeling. They are pretty extensive programs and take some effort to learn, But ultimately are great to work with. They're also quite popular, so if you start working with them there are large communites of artists using them to turn to for help and to find useful info and tutorials.
