  • I saw people who look just like me. i saw 2 little girls with their hair braided just like Mama used to braid mine 50 years ago. My heart aches.

Also an amateur radio operator. I think I can help out . I love the music and culture of Haiti and notice a lot of similarities with New Orleans where I live

  • @bthemedia Leading up to Carnival/Mardi Gras, there are usually a lot of these street parties and celebrations all over Port-au-Prince. Usually take place on Sunday afternoons. It's not about anything; just people letting loose.

  • i have been there. in the early 80s. we spent a week and flew to cap haitian and took the donkey ride to the citadel. it must be the 8th wondeer of the world/ i hoave senyt money for relief and pray to Good it will help spmepne.
