  • I wish i had a trainer like this.Thanks for video.

  • Note that the white guy has problems because he has no rythm! If 52 depends on rythm, white guys can forget even trying to learn it!

  • @V67850 <--- LOL - kid, you don't know what rhythm is.

A white guy INVENTED this style of Boxing - Jack Dempsey. There is nothing much here you would not have seen Mike Tyson doing... He was taught by a white guy...

Stereotypes; For people with self esteem issues.

  • This shit wouldn't work against a giant robot with lasers. Just saying.

  • 1:00-1:04 Tyson used this style entry a lot.

  • 3v1 I'd rape you all np

  • That style you were teaching that student was a lot like how Mike Tyson style of boxing was.

  • @1245TA yeah thats some profound shit but try telling the rest of urban america that shit haha, i dont fight with guns (unless some dude pulls one on me)

  • @LaVivaGan No offense bro, but don't rely on tools, it's just a tool.. The person behind the tools that matter.. Anybody will acting like a tough guy with a gun in his hand, but once the gun is either disarmed or malfunctioned, that same guy will not be as tough as before..

  • I gotta say, that peek-a-boo movement is SO DAMN PRETTY! I really wish more pro-boxers used that style.

Did Mike Tyson bring peek-a-boo to Cuss or vice versa? Do most trainers let their fighter dictate what "style" they use or do they teach them a style?

  • @theyoungcommander Peekaboo predates Iron Mike. Floyd Patterson was first to popularize it. Some say he learned it from Cocksackie prison style. Both trained by Cus D'Amato, of course. To my knowledge, the best trainers don't force a style on a fighter; they observe his natural body mechanics and then make him the most effective fighter he can be with his tools.

  • @djcentury Yes Patterson was one of three fighters to master the style Tyson being the last. Cus had trainers that helped with the formula, and made the art what it is. there are other aspects but it is not popular because it is very involved.

    peace

  • @FarisiDaniel Has anyone documented for certain that peekaboo came out of Cocksackie, that is, as a form of jailhouse boxing that was brought into mainstream prizefighting? I know there was that old Black Belt article that made the assertion. Have you seen any footage of anyone doing real peekaboo before Patterson?

  • @djcentury No but Cus was injured as a young man and didn't box, there are some that link the style to early cuban fighters. it's has its own flow and Mike T had better movement than Patterson so it evolved over time, but the elements are old. Kawaun has blended his 52 with the style so there are even more threats.

  • @FarisiDaniel Tyson had better hip flexibility which was lost after his stint in jail and Patterson had a better jab

  • @MrKeepnit100 true the power is in the legs, as you can see when he's training the squat is built in. and Patterson had tons of lod school training. but Tyson much faster and had better balance and power.

  • @djcentury

Floyd Patterson had a certain peekaboo style

  • @djcentury thanx for the response guys.
