God thanks for posting this, Ive always loved this song since I first heard as a kid when the movie came out. theres just something eerie and cool about it. And aside from the lyrics that doug had to tie into the movie, the rest of lyrics are actually pretty deep.

Yes they are making a 3rd. It is in the writing stage right now. 2 writers froom The Office are writing it with Dan Akroyd and Harold Ramis consulting. Ivan Reitman is also has his hands on this movie. All 4 original Ghostbusters are coming back, as mentors training a new crew of Ghostbusters. Also Sigorny Weaver is back as is Annie Potts. Rick Moranis has yet to sign on for the 3rd.
