Dude, you are missing the point. ITS SUPPOSED TO BE BAD. It's supposed to be so bad, so hilariously stupid, that the films are actually great comedies. I, for one, have gotten much enjoyment through watching Asylum productions. Do you know what a "troll" is? If you are familiar with the concept, think of Asylum as the Coppercab of the film industry.
Anyone with a clue and a triple digit I.Q. knows what Asylum movies are about. I think low-budget bad movies are more fun and honest than big-budget bad movies.
I like cheesy and gory horror films, but I don't care for suckage of that degree. I think this review has helped save me a few minutes of frustration. lol

@kingbilgames Dead Men Walking made meet the spartans (As well as Epic Movie and Disaster Movie) look beautiful. Then again I did laugh harder than Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer movies when I watched Thor (My dad unknowingly bought that shitty movie thinking it would build up to the real Thor)
I like how they make long titles like "the day the earth stopped" so that when you look at them on demand the titles is "The day the earth st..." oh you got me bad movie makers.
I think that they do suck, but they don't suck. What I am saying is the fact that the movies suck dialogue and effects wise, but have their moments. My favorite moment from Chupacabra was when that guy throws a rock on a Chupacabra's tongue which he was retracting, causing him to fly into the rock. I enjoy these movies because their cheesiness results in their B-movie look. Like those old cult classics of the 1950's and 60's.
Liking Godzilla movies doesn't qualify you, especially when you use obnoxious irony whore logic like "I like bad movies". You probably have "bad movie night", also, you fucking hipster. And if liking Godzilla movies qualified you, recommending DOA disqualifies you. Asylum make a range of films, but specialize in their exploitation vein of Mockbusters. I have said, if you can't appreciate and enjoy an Asylum mockbuster, you can't possibly actually understand the films you do like.

last week on sci fi uk they had has mockbusters week showing every asylum i watched transmorphers i hated it which is ironic see as i hated transformers

All of the asylum films suck!! but There new film surprised me "princess of mars" wasn't bad at all it was fun and entertaining. I might be giving it more credit than it deserved but after all there bad movies I went in to it with low expectations but ended up having fun watching it. and by far the best story they ever had.

I've seen two of their movies: Jane White Is Sick & Twisted is a comedy that is purely and simply awful, despite its talented cast. The other is H.G. Wells' War of the Worlds, which was not bad, but certainly not wonderful.
