I'm Canadian living in Michigan. I get over a couple times a year. My take on the matter is there are specific instances were there are waiting periods but that it far from the typical case. The waiting tends to be on things like hip replacement surgery. Like wise I've suffered some of the folly of HMO networks having to travel out of state for an in network MRI when there was one reasonably local.
The systems should pay insurers and doctors better for better outcomes.

For example a government contract that I was employed under required 6 months of notice prior to letting employees over a certain number go. I haven't had a libertarian explain a method by which roads would function acceptably to their ideal.
I also have a problem with the original claim to property in their ideology.
With those kinds of provisos I think their ideology is one that makes a great deal better sense than the alternatives.
I think cutting the military (completely which I don't advocate) took ten years to pay the debt last time I did the math.
I think education is flawed but again better than none.

The Dems gained control of congress in 2006. Bush was elected starting in 2000. Budgets are planned at least 1 year in advance with some programs needing more red tape to cancel than that. For example a government contract that I was employed under required 6 months of notice prior to letting employees over a certain number go. So 18 months after the decision might be made to stop work the person may still be working.
The system is rigged especially against 3rd parties.

I would say the bible is a life guide to improve yourself. If you go by what the bible advises and teaches you will surely feel much better in life.
