Wow, this is really great to see a cure for PTSD measured in hours and days instead of years!!! I think most people have some trauma to a certain degree and we could all benefit from this technique. My question is - can Dr. Botkin teach the masses through videos and step-by-step instructions?

@quantum2light: That would be great & I've looked around - but there seems to be much withholding of the details. One must go through training as a professional or be a paying client - unless someone offered it for free. Some therapists - in general - have sliding scale fees..In any case, there is a lot more info available about the basic EMDR technique it seems to be based on &/or that inspired IADC. Search it out: EMDR history re: Francine Shapiro. She had a spontaneous experience.
