I've got these gloves in 16oz Velcro. Sold my Cleto Reyes to get them after trying my younger brothers Lemarr Diablo's. There really good, use them for padwork and sparring. The wrist support is excellent as the Velcro closing is almost 4 inches broad and sturdy. Would recommend if u get impact injuries or sore knuckles from punching aswell as padding is nice and soft. Only gripe I would say is there really tight with handwraps on, will prob loosen off after a bit of use.
I can vouch for Lemarr gloves been good-been using them ages, this about the thumbs aren't protected enough is a load of c*ap. there great-use the mark 2 pro-style ones for assured thumb and fist protection

that is rubbish mate, just because someone else mentioned 1 loose thread you jumped on that, i have these gloves and been using them for about 6 months and use them for bag work, pad work and sparring and not one single thread of stitching has come undone! why did you not send them back for a exchange if they were that bad?? i had a pair of Reyes before me Lemarr gloves and these beat Reyes! my guess is your either a troll or from another boxing brand and how come your account cant be seen? hmmm
i didnt "jump" on anything i had these gloves i knew about the poor quality but in this video its obvious to see for everyone else. just look at 1:06 its pathetic how poor the quality of this glove is
@IMTChe As with all textile's and leather products that require stitching, you will always have a few strands of stitching that require trimming off at the quality control stage but on the odd occassion one or 2 strands may get missed, this does not mean that the thread has come undone its just overhang that needs trimming off. one loose strand does not represent poor quality at all. you can P.M me if you would like me to arrange an exchange for you, its no problem at all.
yeah but the great companies like winning grant or reyes dont do that they make sure their gloves are as close to being perfect as possible. lose threads are a no go for a company that prides itself on producing great quality gloves so i was a little disappointed
thanks for the offer btw but ive had the gloves for way too long theres no way youll take them back. ive burnt down the lose threads so they dont bother me anymore i just hope the stitching doesnt start to rip or anythin
@IMTChe Hi there. I actually work at one of Lemarr's sales dept in the U.K and wondered that, if you were unhappy with the gloves why you did not send them back for an exchange? Lemarr's sales and returns are excellent and if yourself or any one else bought a lemarr product and was unhappy for any reason you should contact the store that you bought them for and they would of exchanged them for you or refund no problem. In fact if you still wish to send them back for an exchange you should do so
These are the best gloves I own. They are as comfortable as the Lonsdale Super Pro Spar, but quality is far better, wrist support is superb, and as someone with long fingers/thumbs I've had no issues (unlike the Sandee gloves I have where I often jam the thumbs). The padding around hand and knuckle is very good: previously Ive had problems with my knuckles after continued training on the heavy bags using Faritex BGV1s 16oz as the hand is free to move too much inside them. Bargain at £69.
In Lemarr's website, they talk about this glove having 5 layers of padding, with the innermost padding helping you achieve a custom fit for the gloves. Could you share any insight on this? I ask because I'm a small guy (140lbs 63kg), and I have a ton of trouble finding 16oz gloves that fit snug in the hand compartment. The best fitting hand compartment I've tried so far are my friend's Everlast Protex 3 because they make a regular and large size. Thanks.
I used the TWINS brand of glove the bag gloves for now its all I can afford...here in manila if u want top quality glove and equipment u have to save coz it cost a lot...have u ever reviewed TWINS brand of equipment????
i have been using these gloves for a while now and i can honestly say they are the best gloves ive used so far. i also have long fingers and the gloves have caused me no problems at all, unlike other gloves ive used that have fallen apart after 6-12 months, i only use lemarr boxing equipment now. Comfort + Durability + Price = one hell of a glove :)
I think your reviews are great, and I disagree with the negative remarks people have posted. (Jeez....What do people expect you to do, drop $500 a week on gear and then make videos and review it out of your pocket?) You pointed out the positive part of the gear and the negatives - completely objective on this and every piece of gear I've seen you review. You've actually talked me out of potentially purchasing these gloves as I do have long thumbs.
you are selling out man, you lose all credibility if you do reviews of gloves companies give you for free. its always a 5 minute commercial, you always say its an excellent glove and people should go get them when in reality if you bought these gloves you probably wouldnt say that. youre not being unbiased if you take these gloves they send you, because im sure they ask you to make positive comments for the most part, even if they suck
@Makaveli25x how is he selling out? this is one of the most unbiased reviews on youtube? Also check his protex 3 review. He hardly even liked that glove even though it was 200 bucks.
