THATS ME IN DEXTER MCCLUSTER IN MY PROFILE PICTURE,,, GO TO MY PAGE AND VIEW MORE DEXTER VIDEOS,,, I HAVE A TV SHOW FROM HIS HOME TOWN,, BUT THIS VIDEO OF THIS GUY IS CLASSIC.. I LUV IT
@TheChiefsDude@TheChiefsDude It may be a little early to say "The Best Pick", Moeaki is looking like a stud, and I still think that Berry in the long run has the potential to be the kind of player who could be with us for 10 years. He is making alot of mistakes, but he seems to learn from them every week.
All that said, McCluster is tied with Moeaki for the most immediate impact.
LMAO!! You wasn't the only guy who was thinking that exact same thought at about that same time, "What? A 2nd round pick on a running back??? You kidding me?????"
Now I'm thinking, "Oh man YEAH.... WooHoo!!" Go Chiefs!!
I was kind of hoping that they would shore up the NT position or QB (Cody or Clausen), but looks like Dorsey is coming into his own, as for Cassell, time will tell! As long as the Chefs are on the uptick I am a happy man!
@reno8950 Oh... I am still saying What?!?! , but is is usually....WTF did DMC just do there?!
The guy is fun to watch, I hope he can keep it up. I also hope they don't do the same thing with him as they did with Devin Hester and Dante Hall, which is try to turn him into a #1 reciever.
I think with Berry, McCluster and Arenas alone, KC has built a foundation for success...it worked in NE for years. Draft guys who nobody is high on or knows much about only to later find out they can do it all. I'm equally excited about KCs youth injection and will continue to show optimism and refuse to temper that until I'm reminded that "hey you beat the depleated Chargers on a wet field" lol
@MadeinDade21 The guy is giving us something we haven't had in years, field position, and the game changing speed to take any play to the house. I had more fun watching last night's game against the Chargers than I have had in years!
@mesmith26, Most definitely DMC is a playmaker he's one of players like Reggie Bush or Eddie Royal even DeSean Jackson, But I think Run DMC is a lot quicker than Bush and Royal and has way better hands. He's gonna be great. But about your Johnny Knox theory idk, Chicago is supposed to be scary this year with Mike Martz
He has done nothing but make plays every time he has touched the ball in preseason. I think the Chiefs are going to be a top 5 rushing team this year with Jones, Charles, McCluster, and Battle. If Charles goes down McCluster could have a huge year. I wasn't that impressed with what Martz did with Detroit, or SF (23rd out of 32 teams offensively). Honestly, since St. Louis and without Faulk, Warner, Bruce and Holt he hasn't done squat.
At the time I was thinking of Terrence Cody or Jimmy Clausen, they are pretty much stating that they are fine with Cassel and Dorsey, etc.. Only time will tell, maybe surrounding Cassel with playmakes and speed like McCluster will develop him into a franchise QB. One thing is for sure...no more excuses for him!
umm Meet your Brand new SLOT WR/OFFENSIVE WEAPON DEXTER McCLUSTER that was a beast of a pick... he WILL MAINLY BE OUR SLOT WR That's why we drafted him we needed a threat in the SLOT & he is capable of taking it to the house on any down..but he can play KR/PR/WR/RB/WILDCAT QB....(OW)
I was at a lonestar steak house in KC with my wife and I said the same thing when I saw this pick lol. I had never heard of Dexter, but after looking into him I'm feeling excited about him. Good guy on and off field... him being listed as a RB threw me off at first though.
Slow your roll there a bit Mr. Butterworth, we do still have Jamaal Charles on the field... will be tough to be the best player. Even if he is the 2nd coming of Gale Sayers, Steve Smith and Devin Hester all rolled into one guy....we may want to temper the enthusiasm.
McCluster would be an asset to any team. He's versatile. He is not only a running back. He's a good receiver and return guy too! I go to Ole Miss. I've watched him for the last 2 seasons.
I am open to anything, if he turns out to be the second coming of Wes Welker I will be as happy as anybody, it just seems we could have picked him up at 50, and gone with someone like Cody or maybe a pass rusher. I am generally happy with the draft.

How do you like him know? I wanted badly for the Chiefs to draft him and when they did it brought tears to my eyes. And I'm 56 years old.

I actually have two bets about Dexter:
A.) That he will gain more than 675 All purpose yards from scrimmage
B.) That he will out gain Johnny Knox.
*fingers crossed*
