  • I'm transitioning right now but my bf is natural..I'm going to try it on him first tonight!! Yaay...

  • I love this product line!!! My friends are trying it now.

  • There are entire generations of Black people that don't know what our natural hair looks like. People are getting relaxers and don't even know WHY? They honestly believe our hair is naturally straight. They think texturizers GIVE you curls! This is incredibly heart breaking.

  • @Dontboxmein7 WOW!!!

  • Some of the comments in this comment section sadden me. They expose how little some Black people know about their own hair. Texturizers don't curl your hair. They are mild relaxers. They slightly relax curly textured hair. Relaxed hair is permanently straightened kinky/curly hair. No product will make straightened hair curly or non-curly hair curly. Most Black people have curly and kinky hair if they don't relax it. Black people shouldn't have to be TOLD this! We should KNOW this!

  • these products work great for medium length to long. It is the best thing I've found that works on my daughter's hair! The price doesn't bother me since it's the only thing I can use for her. I'm disappointed though b/c it didn't work on my hair since it's short. Guess I'll try it again when my hair grows more. You were blessed with a gift and thank you for creating this product. You have a faithful customer!

  • Her hair is exactly like mine.

That's how long I want mine to be.

Imagine how long it is when she presses it.

  • I would like to see how this product actually works on someone with a kinky hair texture. The product is called Kinky-Curly, yet they do not show a woman with a kinky hair texture in a demo.

  • Egh! Every time I go to whole foods to get another jar the price of this has gone up a few bucks. First it was $25, then it went up to $30, now its like $32 or something, give me a break.

  • your hair is already curly so the product works pretty well for you already BUT... the real question is will your product work for RELAXED hair.becuase all the videos and girls i see using your product have "GOOD" hair as it is so,,how bout you answer that.since thats the ONLY question you've refused to answer...

  • @ivorywine The product is called Kinky CURLY. It is obviously for people with naturally curly hair, so that would be people who are not relaxed. Maybe she didn't answer because the answer is so obvious. And healthy hair is good hair, period. :)

  • @ivorywine

NO one has good hair. She has a pretty average texture for black women, its just really long. It looks like mine and a whole bunch of other people on youtube. This won't work on relaxed hair cause there's no curl. It doesn't create curl it sort of relaxes it and gets rid of frizz. I'm not sure what youre tryna do but the only way to get your hair like this is to go natural.

  • Love the this line started with the knot today and curling custard. Love the results so much bought the shampoo and 2nd day spirtz. Kinky Curly is life changing.

  • How about using a model whos 'natural' hair doesnt look as though it has been relaxed or texturized...Grace Jones/Whoopi Goldberg hair.

  • @ifunanya24 Her hair is natural. The product only enhances textures like hers. It won't makes curls. Whoopi has dreadlocks anyway.

  • wholesalewigsonline. c o m highly recommend .. Personally I Purchased a lot of human hair Double Tape Hair Extensions and human hair wigs from wholesalewigsonline. c o m i got my hair so fast and it is absolutely the softest, most beautiful hair i have ever seen it is always smooth and delightful, The Quality of The Hair is wonderful, this hair is awesome! The hair was simple to Maintain and i love the natural look of it i got tons of compliments! Excellent Quality and Durability

  • To all of you that have used the custard, does it actually elongate your curls? &Does it make your hair look greasy?

  • @CaseyGoesNatural no, not really...but if you use it incorrectly and like let it dry in your hair it could become really sticky

  • @CaseyGoesNatural

Yes and Yes sometimes. It doesn't so much elongate the curls as it just helps them clump. I like to use it with eco styler gel because it does sometimes dry a bit greasy and the ecostyler can be a bit drying. They are good combo with the suave coconut condish, dont buy that knot today, didnt work for me.

  • I love this products... just not enough value, expensive :(

  • @hallokitty00 i completely agree with u I keep seeing videos wiith people with 4a hair type but not really 4b or 4c

  • @dollzoffame no

  • guys i need help! my hair is NOT curly, its naturally "relazed-looking" when wet, i havent tried any generic brain curling gels yet, will this make my hair curly if used properly?

  • @dollzoffame no you have to have a naturally wavy curl kinky hair pattern im sorry ):

  • I know this is a popular product, but I always find it funny that the videos with the highest view counts are with women who have loose curly hair. I know when I started out, I would watch people like CurlyChronicles like my hair was going to be like that. It's nice to watch their videos and see the beautiful outcome, but it's not helpful. I would basically just watch and be like wow her hair is beautiful. Mine ain't gonna do that lol.

  • I have found this product line to work very well on my hair. Once I finally read and followed the directions - My hair came out curly and the shine is unbeatable!

I would encourage folks to give it a try. Just be sure to follow the directions and be careful not to over do the KCCC (Curling custard) because a little goes a long way.

  • @hallokitty00

    I agree!!!

  • i works for kinky tight curly hair, i posted a pic on her facebook page my name is Azaleia go check it out dont knock it, it works

  • I have to say that I have 3c/4a hair and I LOVE this product. My younger sister has more of a 4a pattern and I'm definitely going to buy this for her! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR CREATING THIS! God Bless. :)

  • It seems as if this product line is for people w/a nice texture already. Definitely not my 4b hair. I like the knot Today as a leave-in conditioner (the way Kimmay Tube uses it). It smells WONDERFUL. I think your product line is better than Mixed Chicks. :-)

  • her hair is not even kinky its 100% curling this ad is misleading

  • @hallokitty00 i know you put this up two months ago but i bought the shampoo and the leave in conditioner, i didn't buy the custard yet, and i went on the target website to read peoples reviews and there were people on there that said they had 4b and 4c hair like yours... i mean you really can't knock it until you try it..

  • The longer the hair, the heavier it gets. When my hair is shorter, it's courser and appears to have a different texture. The longer my hair grows, it begins to stretch and at shoulder length it looks wavy with this product. The longer it gets, the curl definition lengthens. Because her hair is long in the video, It's misleading to try to compare her hair texture to someone with shorter hair. (just my opinion)

  • @adancershear1 actually after washing my hair, it's extremely thick, frizzy, all over the map, no real curl definition when towel dry. The product still works on my hair (it's so crazy after a shampoo, I would be embarrassed to video tape it and post it for the world to see:) otherwise I'd post one. but trust me, it's very frizzy. After Curly Custard, the results are pretty similar to what's in the video. (but the longer it gets, there is more stretch when it's soaking wet( just to clarify)

  • @adancershear1 I really agree with you on that. That is the beauty about having longer hair. You can do more things with it. And the weight does pull it down. Just look at Haircrush and Longhairdontcare2011. That's what certain folks don't understand. That's why I say black women need to grow their hair longer and stop walking around short haired or looking baldhead most of the time, lol. Short hair can be pretty don't get me wrong. But it is better to have a decent length of hair.

  • @gmcmim1 It isn't 'better' to have a decent length of hair. Black women do whatever they pleas with their hair. Not everyone has the time or funds to deal with long hair and people just prefer to have long hair. The length of the hair is a Personal Choice. Longer hair isn't necessarily healthier or better.

  • @Pix3617 "Not everyone has the time or funds to deal with long hair." But they have time and the funds to pay for weave, lol. Please. Your argument was weak. Long hair isn't really time consuming unless you like to wear different styles all the time. Having a decent length of hair does not have to mean having hair to your waist. It could be having hair to your shoulders or a little bit below. Not having hair that is hanging an inch within it's life from your head.

  • @gmcmim1 Like I said, Hair length is a PERSONAL CHOICE. In what position are you to decide that long hair is healthier and better? None! Some women just want to wake up at mornings spray some sheen and hit the road and they look damn beautiful with it. Not everyone has the TIME to style their hair. People do WHATEVER THE HELL THEY WANT with their hair. Stop classing everyone in a group 'who don't have long hair, wear weaves'... Please... Your argument is weak and you sound very ignorant.

  • @Pix3617 It doesn't matter. I am over it.

  • @gmcmim1 @gmcmim1 Thank you. I enjoyed the videos, esp. by Haircrush. When I go with short hair, I like 1 inch or less, I"ve shaved bald 3Xs. Once it starts growing, it takes more work and am limited. I'm usually not happy until it gets around neck to shoulder level. I agree, you can do more things. Everyone is different, thank God for personal choices. I loved Haircrush's comment about not typing hair. My hair has many types & is easier to take care of almost bald or long (prefer long).

  • Best Product, speaking for myself and my hair type (whatever that is). I have tried other products, each time only to find I've wasted money when I could have used it to purchase this curly custard. I decided to quit looking. I love that it's all natural ingredients (no false advertising) ,it keeps my hair continually moisturized, conditioned and maintains beautiful definition with a little daily touch up usually near the nape. The more KCCC build up, the more beautiful the definition.

  • I really like this video because it explains exactly how to work it through. The only thing is, is that in my opinion it's not for everyone. It's for people with that texture of hair. people be fooled thinking its going to curl their hair if they don't already have a curl texture to their hair. My cousin tried this years ago and she has very thick and kinky coarse hair and she said it did nothing for her hair and she didn't like it and that's because it's a bit misleading. I am still going to t

  • It is so nice that you are educating people about different textures of hair regardless of race. Thank you!

  • its just a gel i dont know why people getting upset talking leading people on...... if your hair doesnt CURL up with ecostyler or any other generic gel it wont curl with this either ..........if curls is what you want and have none get a texturiser etc

  • Check out Curly Remix Straightening Plates for the SAFE way to straightening natural hair WITHOUT HEAT! CurlyRemix com

  • Honestly your hair looks very curly in its natural form i would love to see this on someone who has "very kinky-barely curly" hair like mines, but ur hair is beautiful =]

  • love your hair

  • Thank you lady!! Your hair is just like mine, i been growing it out for the past 2 years and it is taking for ever since it's so curly it takes forever to see progress! can't wait till my hair is this length however i think i will be waiting a looooonng time!! it's like shoulder length now. i feel like i have 10 more years to goooooooo.... :(

  • I am wondering if baking soda mixed with your shampoo might increase the PH of the shampoo....is that appropriate?

  • @melanin12345 no because baking soda has a pH of 8.1-8.2 and is strongly tied to it, since most "non pH-balanced" are typically a pH of 8 the baking soda will NOT increase the pH, however consider the effects of chemicals go beyond the pH, this means that the pH may not be more Basic, but it will indeed prompt the hair shaft to open more. There is still inquiry as to why this happens, however it is a known fact the baking soda raises the cuticle layer of hair strands.

  • @yaayaa95 "non pH Balanced" Shampoos^

  • I cut my hair on 7/1/11 to natural. My mother found this product for me and I researched it online. I must say I fell in love with this product line. I use everyday. After trail and error I now know how much of the curly custard to apply in my hair and use the spritz on my lazy days. LOL!! Thank you for such a wonderful product.

  • omg! ur hair is just like mine!! :O!

  • about a month ago i started using the knot today and the kccc on my daughter hair,i along with olive and coconut oil..and it works sooooo good her hair is soft Moisturized Im so happy i found these products but most of all Im happy I dont have to test different products on her hair anymore...the price is reasonable...

  • how does she grow her hair that long???? pllllzz answer

  • @TheVamprie1 don't cut it.

  • Check out this new way to straighten hair without a flat iron: CurlyRemix com

smooth healthy hair with no damage!

  • why is it so expensiveeeeee? D:

  • I know it works on your hair, but does this work on 5a hair? lol.

  • My SIS just bought your product her hair is just like yours but much thicker..I'm hesitant to use them cause my hair is more course then hers and it might be a waste of money for me...maybe you should make a video and demonstrate on all the hair types that would make some people with ALL hair types feel better about buying it...please and thank you.

  • how long did it take you to grow your hair?

  • I wish I could afford Kinky Curly Hair Products.... I'm pretty sure I would fall in love with them.

  • Oh my lordddd look at your hair! It's to die for!

  • hi i am so into your prod. my email is jerrivetta@live.com

  • Can't wait to try this product on my daughter's hair.

  • I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!!

  • whoa whoa whoa wait a min can someone please tell me if she was born with that hair or the kinky curly products have it like that ? thanks

  • what happens after you wash kinky curly out? does it stay curly? does it go back to natural afro? I dont want it if it acts like a perm...

  • @BajanRoots kcc isnt a perm or anythin chemical after u wash it out ur hair will go back to its natural state so if u naturally hav an afro it will go back to an afro

  • This product is great for all types of hair, but it works better on curly hair. My daughter and granddaughter have a curly tecture grade of hair, and it works excellent on their hair, but I have 4c, and I don't get the same results that they get, but it' OK, I love the moisture, the ingredients which are natural and wholesome, and I do get "shine" with the KC serum.

  • CAN YOU USE A NATURAL, NO CHEMICALS, COLOR IN YOUR HAIR ALONG WITH THE KINKY-CURLY PRODUCT?

  • so you don't wash the conditioner out?

  • Will this make my hair look all shiny and hard?

    Why so expensive??

  • @hallokitty00 Yes! Preach! Lol. I agree while I had a great time watching her gorgeous head of hair get styled I was a little upset because my 4A hair didn't have the same results. Manufacturers of these kinds of products need to be more clear about the fact that their product is for curly hair, which quite different from kinky. 4C is just as beautiful, but to think that the curl pattern will loosen with this is inaccurate.

  • KCCC and KCKT is by far the best products I've used on my 4A hair. I've tried other natural products and none of them compare to Kinky Curly products (for my hair). Thank you for making an exceptional product. 

  • I <3 your product sooooooo much . i used it on vacation for a week to visit family in Puerto Rico & OMG ! I had nooooooooo frizz what so ever i would wake up the next morning with my hair still looking fabulous . I just wish it wasnt so expensiveee

  • Her hair is gorgeous.

  • Overrated and overpriced like all products that target kinky/coarse hair. I'm not keen on products where I have to walk around a day and a half with wet hair. It's unacceptable. SAVE YOUR MONEY! I recommend Kimmaytube series on PH Balance, very informative.

  • I've used Kinky Curly product line for 6 years firm. My edges are not growing and they are bald. People have told me that anything that makes my hair hard will break my hair. I love the wet look that Kinky Curly gives me. I refuse to give it up! What other product can I use to add moisture to my edges so that they won't break but also not comprimise the kinky curly effects HELP!

  • @MrsJesusFreek Try using a liquid serum on top of your hair. I use curls in a bottle, but you can get something similar at Walmart or Sally. You can also spray aloe vera juice mixed with a light oil like jojoba. Also, I hear massaging in castor oil on your edges may help growth.

  • @MrsJesusFreek Castor oil is good and maybe u should try eco styler but make sure u use a moisturizer or conditioner or oil under neath :)

  • do the kanky curl hair products grow your hair? or it just make your hair curly and thats it??

  • onde encontro essa linha?

  • i love you hair **--**

  • il love you hair **--**

  • i love these products. they work great for my hair.

the shampoo is my fave. its a clarifying shampoo, but it smells so good and actually detangles my hair.

  • Love this stuff, and yes I agree with VeryHappy2BMe Kimmaytube and her leave-in conditioner, featuring Knot Today are the BOMB! I tell EVERY NATURAL about this product and her recipe!!!! Much success and nice curls!

  • the only thing that I can use from kinky curly and have good results is the knot today conditioner, when my hair was shorter I could use the gel but as my hair got longer it doesnt have the same effect

  • maybe if yo shit wasnt so expensive more ppl will by this

  • WOW, i just bought knot today and custard and wow just wow i NEVER HAD anything define my curls the way these two products..i would have to say that this is better than mixed chicks and the fact that the lady in the video has the same hair type as me

  • how did u get ur hair to be so long

    ?

  • @BeautyQueen07100 Proper hair care is the key

  • i have to say that i am very disappointed with the product. One it only works on people with natural curly hair , what about people with wavy hair ? . I have been going natural for about 5 months now , and even though my hair is natural wavy , i expected some curl to come in , especially by using this product and ready many reviews on how this product works. Maybe i applied it wrong , maybe. Or it just doesn't work on wavy hair.Maybe i should wait a while and try it again.

  • @briaaa94 its not really the products fault that your hair didnt curl up. its not used to create curls its used to hold curls

  • @SweetieTroynell I have been transitioning for 11 months. I have recently been introduced to KC products. You can use the shampoo and conditioner on transitioning hair. I love the sprial spritz for roller sets and braid outs. Since I am not completely natural I have not used the KCCC, but I can't wait to try it. TIP - Go ahead and start using products that your natural hair loves, this will make your transition period go smoother.

  • Love the tutorial....but the music is awful :(

  • @patriciadhubbard I agree, it really takes away from the video and instruction. I hope she's able to re-edit with a different song. This one is heinous, distracting and irritating.

  • this only works for non-relaxed hair, correct?

  • @niyah34 Yea, but it will also work if you have tex-laxed curly hair.

  • oh and ur hair is BEAUTIFUL i am in LOVE with your hair ok bey

    thank u!

    -Lexi <3

  • will ur products work for mexican and black hair? im 13 and ive been struggling with my hair for 2 years now i cut it sholder lenth and relaxed it with a really light relaxer so its still curly. my cousin uses ur hair products and her hair is AMAZING plz respond thank u!

    -Lexi <3

  • @lexi4booksilovebenji Yes it works for all naturally curly hair types

  • wow her hair is soo AMAZING!!

  • Do your products have any fragrence? or a smell of any kind?

  • I hadn't thought of it that way..... Thank you for your gracious response. Blessings be upon you, Sis!! I hope the word continues to spread like wildfire re: this quality product.

  • how did you grow your hair sooo long?? pplzz help

  • how did u get ur hsir so long

  • WOW LOOOKS LIKE A GOOD PRODUCT I HAVE HAIR LIKE YOU I AM INTERESTED IN TRYING IT

  • I am a huge fan of Kinky curly products. I love the knot today because it has great slip and adds hold to my hair. The curlig custard makes my curls shiney and defined. My only thing is, I would looooove to see you guys come out with some sort of deep treatment and if possible different scents.

  • @MsBOOPiiE her hair is naturally curly. as long as your hair is curly when its wet, the products will work for u.

  • @MsBOOPiiE you have to let your hair grow out for a long time maybe 1 year or so if you dont want to cut your hair short but in any case you have to cut your hair to be natural.

  • @NaturallyCurly1990 Well Im trying to become natural so yea =p

  • why do you don't ship to Europe ??

  • I looove the 2nd day hair

  • Mauritanian + Senegalese is probably mixed. People don't realize that more there are people of every race living in Africa and this goes back a long time. So it's very possible to be full African but mixed. I think the KK products would work to moisturize hair that's not naturally curly but it won't bring out a curl pattern if you don't have an even curl pattern to begin with.

  • @merikara It's not that Africans are mixed or have been mixed for years, it's the fact that Africans possess a multitude of features besides "wide-nosed & kinky hairy." Africans genetically possess all features known to man. Ever since the Western slave trade, African features have been boxed into 3 features i.e. wide-nosed, kinky hair, and dark skin when like I previously stated African features are vast.

  • @carmelbrown Preach!!

  • What's your hair type

  • @GoldInSin I'm west african too, Nigeria (hi coz!) Im not mixed but I was shocked at my texture, its curly. I guess I bought in to the typical textures they showed on tv since I had never even seen my real texture or anyone else in my family ( all relaxed). But true say, not all mixed race people have 'curly' hair.

  • IDK guys she has to be mixed but where all mixed (people of color that is).

  • @MrsLutz110011 What, black girls dont have gorgeous hair??? wow smh...

  • @4daLUVofHipHop Of Course Black Girls Have Gorgeous Hair...I was just saying that to be nice..Im very Proud Of my Black Hair..I didnt mean to offend anyone :)

  • @MrsLutz110011 When I first read your comment it seemed a little suspect lol I get it now =D

  • @4daLUVofHipHop ur an ass!!!! your prob just upset that you dont have hair like that.

  • @prunes202 ..they gave a compliment, how are they an ass?

  • @MrsLutz110011 that was really rude

  • @taloca121 im really sorry...i was just trying to be nice. Black girls have beautiful hair and I know that because im black as well. Im sorry if I made you feel like I was trying to be rude. It really wasnt intentional, I just thought her hair was really nice. :(

  • can any of these products be shipped to the uk ?

  • Why doesn't it work for my hair. I did as the bottle told me too but my hair is not naturally curly so will it still work for my hair?

  • @ladykateri This product doesn't create curls. It freezes them as they are in their wet state without frizz

  • @ladykateri Is your hair permed?

  • @MysTaria87 Yes it is, is that a problem? So product wont work for me :( ?

  • @ladykateri yeah, I believe that your hair has to be naturally curly.. or you can probably use it if you're transitioning. Idk for sure. I've heard from other YT'ers that you can't use it if your hair is relaxed, but idk if they tried on their relaxed hair at all. If it doesn't work for you now that your hair is permed, then I would wait a little until you do decide to go natural. :-)

  • @MysTaria87 - I don't know about all of that. I am sure realaxed heads can use it. But it poins towards enhancing natural curls.

  • @SimplyZeal yeah, anyone can use it, but it won't really enhance anything if you're not using it on naturally curly hair.

  • @MysTaria87 -agreeing.

  • I used it and it works wonders, and I'm 4a/4b. It define my curls and it gives me shine. The only problem is the shrinkage.

  • The product is really good, esp. the knot today which, unlike any other conditioner I have used, leave in or not leave in, it is GREAT at helping our type of hair get kinks out smoothly without breaking your hair off or hurting it. It is just that darn good. Also, the kinky kurly creme gel is damn good at getting your hair in place and getting, bringing out the curl. It's way better than any gel I have ever used and it works! I swear by it!

  • The product is really good and I have really kinky curly hair that even gel can't help and yet this controls the frizz. Good product. I swear by it!

  • I dont think her hair would frizz, i think they just picked her cause she already had curly hair so they wanted to pick her. Plus that stuff is like 26 dollars, its not worth it

  • This woman owns the company. Im sure she thought it would be a good idea to show us exactly how to use the product since many people have issues with that. Kinky curly products are worth every cent because they work.

  • crazyrayz7899@ wear a shower cap dats wat i do!!!

  • i do this the night before i go to school how am i supposed to wear it to sleep because this would take to long in the morning

  • I've been natural for two yrs. I also found it at target about 2 days ago. I must say that it is great.

  • I did not know that this product was sold in Target. I went in target the other day and I saw it on the self. I thought this product was only available through online order. I was wrong lol.

  • does this stuff expire

&does work for short hair like a mini afro

  • does this stuff expire

  • does it work on relaxed hair?

  • pp

  • OMG How long did you let your hair grow like that ? I'm trying to let mines grow like that I have a long way to go .

  • A while back I bought the Come Clean Shampoo and the Kinky Curly Knot Today. Personally, it wasn't worth it. I got better results using other products. Thus, I didn't buy them again. Same goes for the KCCC, accept I got that from a relative.

  • If I may ask what race are you? And how did yu get soooo much curl definition?? My curls are rather loose now ..

  • @rare2b if your hair has any sort of curl pattern it will work but it won't create curls if your hair is straight . So going by your name , if you have 2b hair you will probably only need some inexpensive hair moose to define your curls .

  • can you tell us what hair types this product works for like 2c,3a,3b,3c

  • @rare2b I have coarse 4b bsl (bra strap length), my friend has 3a and the product works well for both of us, you just have to find the right amount that works best for your hair.

  • This product does not work for every one. I bought the whole line and after 5 tries my hair still is a frizzy mess. I know it can't just be me:(

  • Honestly, Ms. Davis, I hope u have decided to reward Kimmaytube for promoting ur products. I would have never tried it (and this goes for hundreds, if not thousands, or YouTubers all over the world) were it not for her leave-in formula vid. " A workman is worthy of his hire.." Praying for ur continued success, Luv.

  • @VeryHappy2bMe True: Kimmaytube should be rewarded she has mad e me interested as well and i love the product

  • @Godschild002: Thanks, Luv. I appreciate ur honesty and courage to share ur opinion. Be blessed. ~VH2BMe

  • @VeryHappy2bMe I agree! I discovered this product from Kimmaytube's channel.
