They (Square Enix) decided that if they do a remake of Final Fantasy 7 they do a remake for the 8 and 9 though no confirmations have been done since the ones who participated in the creation of FF7 are currently on other projects. One of them did say that once they were done they'll do the remake ^_^ Let's hope it's true

I'm actually hoping for a DS or PSP remake for the game. Improved graphics, voice acting, better battle system, enhanced music (the kind featured on the OST) and the same plotline and characters? That sounds like a good deal. And considering this has been wanted for a while, a improved port would sell well, and if they do it right (maybe multiplayer features?) the game could do REALLY well. Cellphone gaming is... Bland. But I'd love to play this in the middle of a boring class, on my phone. xD

I think that one of the main reasons cell phone gaming is "bland" is because it does not have enough quality titles like Before Crisis. Personally, I'm one of the few gamers who sees a lot of potential in the mobile phone gaming platform and I do think it could turn into a viable gaming platform.

One of the main reasons I'm exited about Before Crisis is that it is on cell phones, and porting/remaking it for another system would make me lose a lot of interest in this game. But that's just me. :P

Well, if you were concerned about the game, you wouldn't really be concerned if it was ported to another console or not; you'd just be glad to play it... And I feel that way. I want to find out about the story, and the characters; and i'd really like to play it in the best experience possible; with optimal graphics and sound. If it -does- come out on cellphone, I'll still subscribe, but I'm still not sure if most phones can handle it. @_@

I am concerned about the game, but I'm also concerned on which system it comes out for. There is no reason why I can't be concerned with both. I'm not saying that I NEED it to come on cell phones, however that would be my preference, much like it would be your preference if it came out on either the PSP or DS.

Your concerned on whether or not it comes out on another system "to an extent". You care more about the game than the system, and I feel the same way.

There are parts, of which one I have presented here, that overlap with Before Crisis and Crisis Core. Last Order is a non-canonical version of the Nibelheim incident from Before Crisis (thus the inclusion of the Turks).

It introduces us to several new Turks but, as far as I can discern, does not tell us Cissnei's real name. I think that will be revealed in a later installment.

As far as the story is concerned... you don't really "need" to know this one, per se. It expands on some events and explains some more character motivations (Red XIII has a mate), but Crisis Core does better concerning the main characters.
