This is such a wonderful song, great message behind it, too. I'm very against keeping animals such as elephants, orcas, dolphins, tigers, etc in captivity and forcing them to perform those ridiculous tricks day after day, in small barren cages/pools.

This video is the one in the wrong format so it's stretched all tall and distorted. Check out the other one on here! Much more faithful to the artist's vision!!
I kinda thought the "Maybe Sparrow" video was better. It connected with the song so greatly, and it was darker, more serious. This one was kinda "light".
I like the video! Cool animation but nothing you'd want to watch more than a few times;it's as it should be;go listen to the CD and imagine it in your head! Neko is very beautiful, hauntingly so, just like her music! The cover reminds me of the chase seen in "Death Proof" I've seen her a few times in my home town, Calgary Alberta;she is great!
Thanks, I'll check those out. I've heard other songs off the new album on the radio, but none other really grabs me like this one. I'll give them a listen.

I got this song from Starbucks, but dont really like it. Feel free to use this code on iTune: T3RLAEMY69FA (but only for 1 person). It'll expired on May 29, 2009.
Great video for this song. The whole album is tight, the best I have heard in a long time. My favorite is the title track, though. Looking forward to more videos!
I don't think feeding her to the whale is necessarily symbolic of death / the end.... I think it's more a sad moment where she has to return to the mundane / dull world of knitting, after having an adventure and seeing exciting things, meeting like-minded girls. That's my reading of it, anyway. I love it... great looking animation.
honestly? I don't get it. I love the images. very well drawn. but is feeding the girl to the orca at the end perpetuating negative stereotypes? I think it might. But basically, I don't get it.

• john saw that number

Looks a bit like the video for "Maybe Sparrow".
Heck, "Middle Cyclone" is "Fox Confessor ver2.0"
Which is a damn good thing, btw.
