  • can you still remove the buddy bottle? And is there some sort of cap you can buy to cover the refil hole when not in use?

  • what would be your favorite pcp air rifle

  • @abecslides a hand pump or a scuba cilinder(dry air)

  • What do you think the best pellets are for the r10

  • I think its the mk 1 ive got the mk 2 much better. 27 inprovements on the mk 2..

  • Is this the r10mrk1or the mrk2 u did not say

  • @tird108 welcome to Britain we have air rifles and the ability to spell coffee properly

  • @tird108 *Rounds. We do have coffee I drink it every morning. Infact we spell properly and we also have real firearms that shoot live ammunition.

  • Very well done, great review. Thank you

  • hats better for this gun 177 or 22?

  • "magazine aperture" is that the official nomenclature? Id call it magazine opening or magazine bay ... aperture sounds odd? But I´m not a daily english speaker...

  • dont you worry im defo going to pop down there just as soon as ive paid for my BSA R10 and ive got my BASC Airgun membership with the

    BASC Members Insurance

ill be flying up there just like a pellet lol

  • looks like petes airgunfarm.co.uk

  • @simon7pa It is indeed Pete's Airgun Farm, and I would advise any shooters in the area to head down there :) I'm not in any way affiliated with him of course, I'm just a shooter who was very satisfied with the land and service. As long as you're sensible, you're given almost free reign over his sizeable land filled with magpies, rabbits, squirrels, you name it, plus that handy indoor range and some HFT set up out back

  • i have the bsa meteor mk 7 yer not as good i know but it is my first air rifle

  • bsa r10 for sal eas new comes with everything contact me

  • could i hunt fox with this rifle

  • looks like a maruder with an m203 grenade launcher

  • i was put off buying the r10 because of a lot of bad reports not sure if the updated model is any better but it seems it was pot luck if you got a good one.

in the end i bought the Air Arms s510 carbine super lite which i have found to be spot on.

Hi Buddy where are you from?

  • @Cuthell07 why are you selling it , did you not like the gun?

  • @anth69y Need money for christmas, plus i just have not got the time for this gun, im on nightshift now aswell. brilliant gun !!

  • i have an r10 and i have to say i love it, use to to have an s410 tdr bsa r10 awsome weapon i love hunting with this, i have took magpie and rabbits out at about 50yards with this rifle and it has no problem and this is firing at 12flb standard, and am sure the killing distance for a standard .22 rifle is bout 30 yards, fantastic gun defo buy one

  • I'm a 17 year old male, who lives in the UK and has worked since the age of 16, I have an above average IQ, and no criminal record. Yet my parents won't even let me purchase or own an Airsoft gun. FML

  • @ChristyTV

    PMSL!!!! :D

  • i had a look at an r10 in my local gun shop the stock is to die for but the finnish on the action was rubbish and i heard bsa have had isues with them

  • this is a shit. i prefer .22 long rifle. this is not a gun this is a toy.

  • @greenberettiny as its a toy would you volunteer to be shot by it?

  • @gazzmilsom i have shot my leather jaket with a .22 air gun and it didnt pass

    it

  • @greenberettiny then it was a very underpowered rifle. a sub 12ftlb rifle might not sound like much power but it will still go through a rabbits head and can still cause injury or even in rare cases death, treating an air rifle as a toy is irresponsible and adults not treating them as guns leads to children treating them as toys and doing stupid things like getting injured or dead.

  • @gazzmilsom i agree but still prefer 22 lr

  • @greenberettiny This is an air powered weapon, capable of killing pests and small game at distances up to about 50 yards, depending on the shooter. A .22LR round is capable of killing at up to 1 mile - at least when I used to shoot them. This gun requires no firearms certificate in the UK, .22LR does.

And, it's not cheap. What this guy's holding is well in excess of £600 even without, sling, case, pellets, bipod etc. Still think it's a toy?

  • @s10m0t10n a full mile....with a .22LR? doubtful...im a marksman/sniper with the Royal Marines, 42 Cdo, and a mile is a hassle making shot even with the .338 LM AW rifle that we use, a .22 would have dumped 99% of its energy at that range, it may give you a tiny bump on the head at that range.

  • @LCStreetPhotographer. I used to do a lot of .22LR target shooting in my teens. Back then all the boxes of cartridges were printed with the warning about being capable of killing at a mile . I wouldn't think of disputing what you say - your experience with firearms far exceeds mine. Accuracy would be a real issue, too, at much less than a mile. Thanks for the reply - I know a lot of folks will be reassured by it. Stay safe in what you do.

  • @gazzmilsom well said i once was hit by a ricochet from about 30 yrds and it hurt would not like to do that again

  • For how long havw gamo owend BSA now?

  • Nice review with one criticism - couldn't we have seen the result of a bit more shooting? Three pellets is hardly enough to be able to see how the gun performs in the hands of someone who does these reviews for a living. Maybe some form of rating (marks out of 10?) for handling, ease of filling, accuracy etc. could be included, too. What do you think?

  • for me my first choice would be a AA410 but wouldn't say no to a R10

  • beatiful gun

  • how long does it take to charge up?

  • i think hes saving pellets! 10 shot grouping pellet on pellet . 180 shots in buddy you shoot five hundred quickly!

  • I notice you were not using the mag when shooting, is it bad for groupings that mag?

  • just bought one . excellent piece of kit. i also have the same scope fitted, quite simply amazing

  • its a very nice rifle, i really want that scope what do you think about it?

  • its a true beauty graham it truly is! nice vid also 10*+
