  • that 90's lipstick!! wow,,, i kind of wish that scene would come back

  • Mmkay, kind of off-topic, but I LOVE Winona Ryder's lip color.

  • I loooove this movie :D <3

  • how can it be shot on location in Vancouver when the Alcott house is in Massachusetts?

  • @tanan18 I think they might mean it as in "not in a studio", I'm just guessing

  • This Film Was Released And Filmed When I Was Born! Love You Winona Laura Horowitz! (:

  • oh eric stoltz ! i remember him from some kind of wonderful

  • love this movie. And my favorite has to be the sweet pairing of Laurie and Amy. :)

  • Little Women is such a great movie! One of Winona Ryder's best films, and it's not just a chick flick. Every time I watch this movie it gets to me and I'm a guy, that's because it's done so well. Timeless film a true work of genius!

  • @Beerlejuice Never met a guy who could watch this one. My fiance` laughs at me & asks me why I like things that make me cry.

  • @bookwoman53 I think that's because your fiance is too chicken to watch the movie, hahaha.

  • @imabandit I was surprised to find out he was English too! He seems so American, guess that's just his wonderful acting. First movie I watched him in was Batman Begins. After that, every movie I have seen him in I loved. It was a joy to me to find out he was playing Laurie from Little Women when I first watched it. Love him.. so handsome and cute.

  • Gabriel Byrne is the one who plays Professor Bhaer right? I love Irish accents, it's my favorite accent in the world. p.s. I think the one who plays John (the one who marries Meg is rather handsome but I'm a huge Bale fan).

  • One of my absolute favourite films since I watched it first time! Brillant actors and dialogues. Shows so good relationsship in between familys and friends. It reminds me a lot of another beloved film of mine - Pride and Prejudice. In fact Winona Ryder and Keira Knightley are somehow of the same manner, grace and acting, don't you think !?

  • @deliriousweare Exactly! I was thinking the same thing about those two actresses. They also look similar. I love characters such as Jo and Lizzie, independent, smart and witty. One of the many things that I find great about movies/stories such as Pride and Prejudice and Little Women is that the romantic part of it is so lovely without having to reduce to being vulgar and showing actually showing love scenes. Another such movie that is good is The New World.

  • @Bootstataboots Alright, thats what I mean! And quite amazing how much romantic suspense can be created by just acting in this fine way ! (btw: for me Gabriel Byrne's accent sounds german too- first I was stunned, cause I thought he did it just for the film,,,,but well, it is Irish accent, I didn't know)

  • christian bale so cute

  • lol so 90's

  • My mum agrees, the actress playing Meg (I always forget her name, forgive me) isn't that beautiful. I've always imagined Meg to look like her but more attractive.

  • God!! I love Winona Ryder... My Noni is just wonderful, gorgeous, smart and very talented.... She deserved that Oscar

  • all there lip stick is sooo dark!

  • If you listen closely, you can notice Gabriel Byrne's real Irish accent. Both he and Christian Bale did well changing their accents! This movie is definitely in my top ten favorites.

  • I personally think Gabriel sounds French, rather than German.

  • In your dreams did that happen, Mutant. The only woman you've probably ever banged and thrown out of your house is a blow-up doll. By the way, no one could be further from Jewish than Mel Gibson!

  • I'm not even going to respond to that...

  • Can we say disturbing and obnoxious?

  • Guys, be a bit sensitive please. Winona is a passionate person, who feels deeply for her projects which means she usually is too overwhelmed to be completely articulate.

  • OMG Winona Ryder, Christian Bale, Kirsten Dunst.. I hadn't see this movie in years and now I realise there are all these actors in it lol

  • eric stoltz (john brookes) is the same guy who played the serial killer on grey's anatomy... that's kinda creepy...

  • i think Winona is wearing too much red lip stick ..it makes me focos to her lips.

  • Winona should have won the oscar!!!

  • U DAMN RIGHT!!!

  • i never noticed he was so goodlooking...

  • For some reason I'm always faintly surprised, even though I know, by Bale's cockneyness xD I dunno why but he amways seemed so American to me.

  • Winona Ryder doesn't know what the hell she is talking about! what does she mean that the stories of the 1800's weren't ever about adolescents!!!!???? there were many books that revolved around adolescents.

  • I LOVE this movie!

  • I love this video, I want to be a filmmaker eventually so featurettes are always so cool to me.

  • lol i definitely agree with his accent.

Even though fans wanted Laurie and Jo to get together in the end, i luved the end how laurie got together with Amy n the professor with Jo. Amy changed alot later in the movie. One of my favourite movies of all time.

  • well, they couldn't change the book. it would have been horrible.

  • Yeah thats true, i think the reason i loved this book and the movie so much was because of the way it ended and how the charcters all changed.

  • i remember when the movie came out, i worked with a girl, who couldn't understand why the movie ended the way it did. she didn't realize it was a book first. and a classic at that.

  • love it!! and christians accent.... wow. i definitely like him better british :)

  • @musicofmyheart9 well us britts are amazing lol
