I think this movie is a compassion between them. That, or it's like Britney is a younger version of Madonna. As if the characters they portray are the same person, just different ages. Brit is the younger, wild version and Madonna is the older, more sensual and classy version. If you watch the bed scene closely, they almost get into what seems to be a fight and for a second, Brit looks over to see no Madonna at all as if she was imagining it.
