@EinYeTi Using a Fotodiox Pro EF-NOS to adapt the manual focus Nikon lenses. For the M-Audio Nova Mic - you'll need the DXA -SLR for the phantom power.

@sigma4000 Yes, it does a pretty good job of getting rid of AGC hiss. I talk about it in my review.

@unprofessionalvids In general I would agree with you although I think recording to an independent recording device (given you have the time to sync in post) is ideal in terms of flexibility and quality.

But in a certain situations I stand by this device. I haven't had any issues with noise or audio leaking between channels.

This thing is a pile of junk unworthy of my $400. They must have fell down and bumped their heads. I'm an audio expert. I could make something for around $40 that would work. And this piece of dog crap doesn't even have phantom power.. But of course, you can buy an "upgraded" version with phantom power for "a few bucks more". Gimme a break.

This is a classic example of someone cornering a market and bleeding a consumer dry. I hope a new company puts this p.o.s. company under.

@Josiah77 that would be like comparing apples to oranges. The H4n is would set up a dual system (though you could probably rig up a single system).
