  • hahaha xD that'S awesome! but the dinos and king kong looking so funny in their movements.. well it was 1933 and that must have been a very good movie! :D

  • @dinoy94 It still is a good movie...

  • yes of course! it looks cool

  • AWSOME!

  • Perfect. Exactly how the trailer would be edited if made now. Good job.

  • GREAT VID. I'd definitely go see the film after watching the trailer were it was for real. Love the Snowball In Hell bit at the end! lol

  • awsome film for that time:D

  • What the hell Batman music. XD Did not expect that. Good though.

  • same here batman music?

  • It's amazing how easily this film fits into a modern trailer. Good work.

  • anne has no feeling in this movie other than aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!

  • LittleEmoBoy,

You would scream too. After all, your a little snotty nosed emo wimp.

  • um the newer films are way better than this because at least the lady in it has feelings. this movie was made back when the whole sexist thing was still going on.

  • She DOES have feelings.

    She screams.

That is natural human reaction to a giant ape kidnapping you.

  • I said that was the ONLY feeling she has in this movie, pay attention dumb ass.

  • well done. You really captured the essence of the old film in a modern trailer.

  • cool

  • That's fantastic!

Anyway, keep making your Miley Cyrus fan videos and keep singing badly.

I am sure you'll make more money than this movie did...HAHAHAHAHA!

  • this was the best one

  • for heaven's sake, why King Kong has The Dark Knight's musics? Big mystery...

  • This movie's gonna be awesome!! Coming out this summer???

  • ¿is King Kong or Don king?

  • Awesome job, man! Love it!

The original KONG is the best and always will be.

  • The first one is GOOD.

The first remake is Really GOOD..

and the 2005´s remake is AWESOME...

    good history...

  • GETTUM KONG!

  • FOR MY GIRL FRIEND !

  • oh crap. but i loved the movie. it made me cry at the end though

  • o and the music is from THE DARK NIGHT!!!!

  • this is not the real trailer at 1:13 that is the skull from the peter jackson movie of king kong

  • It doesn't say anywhere that it is the trailer.

  • I've always wanted to see this one.

  • I don't care how "cheesy" Kong looks, this is still, for my money, the greatest adventure movie of all time. I guess you have to have seen it in the '30's, '40's, '50's or '60's to really appreciate it. What a classic! Still beats many movies made today!

  • Ostendere, with all due respect, go fuck yourself.

  • I agree with you MOSES! MY FAVORITE !

  • suck my wiener.

  • Yes, how dare you have an opinion.

  • go to star wars spoof and be the first to rate or comment my video

  • king kong looks so dang funny! who would watch that movie...o-well so funny 5 stars : )

  • roflmao!

  • i think kong loks cool in that old version i am a very big fan of monster movies

  • omg! the movie is a classic, but i haven't seen it in years. i forgot how cheesy kong looked...

as for the people who say 'it's fake' that was the depression for gods sake! they didn't have much to work with. i'd like to see you make as good a movie with a budget of like 200 dollars.

  • 2:40

    LMAO

    lol at the plane

  • I like it though modern trailers tend to be even more epileptic.

  • This film is why movies are made! Now, I do love the 1976 and 2005 versions though. Why? Because we still got to see a 'King Kong' movie! Sure, there are bad points in both films - I like the 1976 more, personally - but at least they both did their bit in devoting millions of people into the realm of Kong. Sure, some do complain about the 1933. But at least they stand for something about Kong and like this classic story. Unlike the 'Transfomers'-loving idiots who say all things Kong are stupid.

  • The re-makes will never touch this classic. And as for these it looks so fake crowd, are you on crack? You think the X-Box style graphics of the new version look real? Stop-Motion is fake and so is CGI it's all about style, you wanna see a real gorrila go to the zoo.

  • you are so right this is what its all about

  • true!

  • LMFAO the '33 king kong looks so fake its hilarious

  • cool, who made this?

Its a bit too long and gives away too much.

The Peter Jackson version looked like friggin video game.

  • king kong looks so fake its more funny than scary

  • ruqje

  • The '33 Kong sends all other monster movies into mediocrity.

  • As a trailer - meh.

Get it down to 2:30, it needs cards, a better open, a tighter end, a SFX pass, and to really utilize the dialogue, rip the movie and then strip out the audio to approximate splits. If you're a fanboy, cool, but if you you want to be a pro editor, you need to log some years as a AE and really get the rhythms into your blood.

  • AN ABSOLUTE CLASSIC, better than all the remakes

  • It was Beauty and the Beast who killed King Kong

  • Nice work. Quicker cuts. Hard to work in the silence since so much was overlaid by scoring.

    Nicely done.

  • This is by far, my favorite movie of all time!

  • The view of the "good old times" biplanes coming across the Empire State Buildind is

    F A N T A S T I C

  • I love it 1933 and 2005 were the best but 1976 version sucked

  • King Kong is my monster hero.1933,1976 and 2005.

  • I don't think. ANY Woman. could stay with us still. after that scream. -without simply Passing Out in Overwhelming Fear!..(spoiling the Movie!)

  • Good job on the editing! I really liked how it seemed like a preview you'd see on TV now. It really brings excitement to this classic film. Coolness!

  • you know nothing about classics you moron

  • great movie.

  • Sweet!!

  • No way. The effects in this movie are 100 times better than anything made in the last 20 years. It is SO BORING to watch some little computer animation that I paid $10 to see. It's always completely fake.

In this movie the effects were literally REAL in a way no movie has been in a long time.

Perhaps sometime in the future computer animation will reach a point where it is actually good but movies right now suck ass.

There's nothing even to be _impressed_ about in a movie today.

  • there is something so enjoyable about the old fashioned black and white stop-motion effects of this movie that make it more memorable than anything done with a computer

  • stock694 is correct, music is from Batman Begins. Hanz Zimmer composed the music for both Begins & DK, best classic music ever

GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT FILM FANS!

  • hans zimmer sucks compared to john williams

  • If you're tgalking about who scored the newest version, it was James Newton Howard. I have the soundtrack. He did a great job.

  • This is one of the best movies ever.

  • my goodness this looks so fake now especially since its 2008

  • i know the special effects were good for its time, but now they look really stupid.

  • You said your daily bullshit for today.

    That's enough until tomorrow.

  • it is a great movie.

  • i have seen all the Kong Movies and this was the best 1

  • KING KONG BEGINS

  • Hmmm Looks like Kimbo Slice

  • the only problem about this film is that ann coud of liked kong more.

  • DannyRocks246 said:

"the only problem about this film is that ann coud of liked kong more."

WTF? He is a monster! I think you would scream your head off if a horrible brute was tsanding right in front of you pounding his mangey chest off. Hehe.

  • I hate admit it but ive never seen this film. Ive seen the two remakes, the first which might, just might have been a guy in a monkey suit.

  • thisw is the best one,and the 2 remakes were also great

  • why batman theme?

  • This film is a legend...thanks for posting this its fantastic

  • lmao, imagine if you showed a 1930's audience the new king Kong..they'd be dead in their seats

  • Imagine if WE experienced an ultra-3-D, hyper-dimensioal,holographic KONG made in 2133: WE'D die in our seats!!!!!

  • lol probably

some how I think we'd be able to handle it better.

  • true, but u could say that about lots of stuff, imagine ur playing shitty atari back then and someone brings in a 360 >:)

  • LOOOOLL!!!!

  • One of my favorite movies of all time!

  • haha music from the dark knight

  • Dark knight didn't steal it from this movie... the song used in the dark knight trailer is also from the soundtrack of Batman Begins called "Molossus"... which came out in 2005.

  • Pretty good but I'm not sure about havingthe batman theme there really...

  • Great who made this trailer?

  • vitun homot imekää pippelii

  • There was one big blooper in the King Kong movie. They built a great big wall to keep him out and instead of building a gate for people to fit through, they built a great big gate that King Kong could fit through.

  • the wall set from 'KONG' was built for a previous silent movie, 'KING of KINGS' and used, unaltered on KONG.

  • Kong's wall was later burned in the burning of Atlanta scene in Gone With the Wind.

  • in that time king kong was weird....

  • King Kong is my favorite African American hero.

  • wth snowball in hell?

  • hey hey its about kong here, not about spex.

  • Hahahaha

    They Used Stop Animation

  • Hispanic isn't a race, its a culture.

  • looks freaky but looks fake

  • Not fake! You said it looks freaky - it can't be freaky if it looks fake, dumbass. Make up your mind, 3rdprofilebioch!

  • i like the special effects in the latest version

  • Holly"Weird?" Please, at the least do spell your words properly.

Its pointless trying to argue with a person who is so single-minded and bias. We could keep throwing punches at each other, but there would lead us nowhere.

So I'm going to just leave it with this: You're either mentally ill or extremely obnoxious. Take your pick. :)

  • You just keep believing that, mkay? Your such a racist. :)

Now, I'm still waiting for those constructive argument points. So far its just been random babble.

  • The Jewish people are a race. And when did I compare two movies? I just said that the Delorentis' film was made in '76.

And where the hell is this bestiality thing coming from? Why don't you stop tossing random and racist insults around and, ya know, actually make some PROPER ARGUMENT POINTS.

Come on, I know you can do it! I believe in you! :)

  • Flonkoo is not correct. To judge this movie by comparing it to films made DECADES LATER is complete and utter stupidity. Perhaps I did go too far, but don't think you have done any better. Am I part of a Jew family getting royalties from a film made in 1933?

    Are YOU a flippin' monkey?

Tell me, are you smoking something or just racist?

I'm not Jewish, just to let ya' know. And, just for the sake of spreading the knowledge, Delorentis' Kong film was made in 1976, before the eighties.

  • lol nice

  • The screaming is very fake, but it is still a great movie.

  • no shit the 1933 one was so fake looking, b/c it was!, and the 2005 one sucked

  • a 100% classic

  • Yes. It was made in 1933. Back then it was one of the most realistic films ever made. Remember to actually THINK about what you're talking about before you spew random crap claiming that something is unrealistic, it makes no sense, etc.

  • apart from the obvious it doesn't seem that dated, surprisinly

  • classic version was more better

  • The 2005 Kong sucked so bad, big time. It was all video game CGI action and nothing filling in the rest of the abysmal 3 hours. Nice work for film students studying video game graphics but not nice for Kong fans and theater audiences. Thats one of the major reasons it's bombed so bad to this date. The DVD doesn't even sell.

  • Including DVD sales, its made over 700 million world wide. Its been a commercial success, actually despite contrary belief. :)

  • IT'S UNBELIEVABLE that some regard the 2008 KONG as a flop: it's made a ton of money, granted not as much as LOTR did, but a massive profit nevertheless even after the initial 100 MILLION-plus budget is subtracted.

  • I agree, but it was 2005 not 2008.

  • Great job.

  • its so sad this stage and everything from this film got ruined when universal exploded ='(

  • Uh...the king kong ATTRACTION burned at Universal. The original Kong was released by RKO in 1933. The outdoor jungle scenes were shot at the old Pathe lot, which is long gone. The giant wall, which was redressed from an old CB DeMille silent biblical epic was burned for the burning of Atlanta scenes in Gone with the Wind.

  • thats really a downer =(

  • lol the cannibals look FUKN SCARY in the remake.. this one they look gay

  • I think it is so fascinating just to watch King Kong move. The stop motion technique was really made popular by this film but since then has been critiqued by movies like the Nightmare Before Christmas and the Corpse Bride ( two other amazing films). The original version of King Kong is a true classic.

  • Not even one star!

  • i loved both king kong movies but i have to go with the classic because i find computer generated stuff unreal. i prefer practical effects to special effects

  • I think the 2005 remake was awesome. The wrestling scene with Kong and the T-Rex's is some of the best 10 minutes of CGI ever put to film.

  • Sweet.

  • first of all great trailer! moving on... peter jackson did muck up the 2005 remake but it had some great moments and new ideas which were good but not too great, the 33 version is the best by no doubt but 76 remake was also very good as was the son of kong it's like alot of things that get remade they have good and bad points, it's just up to people's own opinion - but that snake in the 76 was just AWFUL!

  • it wasn't a snake...it was a sort of loch ness type of creature...if you look closely it has flippers like a seal

  • I thought the whole of the 76 version was embarassing. Why do people constantly compare Kong 33 with PJs superb 05 version? both are brilliant in my eyes. 33 came out when no one else had seen Kong so it was bound to have a greater effect..

    Delf

  • well done!
