  • Liza would've been 15 maybe its Lorna

  • i picked up an old fungi lol, judy was so funny, i just f*****n love her to bits,In one of the photos, 4.31 judy is bending down to kiss a girl, it looks like liza, can someone please confirm this, thanks

  • Garland Had the best technique when it came to singing. Today's singers warble up and down and it takes out the intense emotion the way that songs are supposed to be sung. That is why when people hear Garland they are blown away by her sheer raw talent. There isnt a singer alive or dead that ever related to her audiences the way Judy did. She was so amusing too. I love when she talks about how she "doesnt perspire she just sweats" LOL

  • she's so damn funny xD I laughed so much I began to cry! Ooohh, how I love that woman <3

  • :D :D i LOVE this!!! <3 thank you for uploading

  • I feel captivated listening to her stories equally as her singing. And she was know to be one of the best story tellers in Hollywood.

  • Mr Duke .. Its true. No one can ever take the place of Judy Garland,, She had and still dosent have any competition... Liza is Liza. great in her own way as all the other singers are. but there was only one Judy Garland.. Imagine if she had the tech. they have today. With that voice.. WOW

  • COULD SOMEONE PLEASE KINDLY POST THE OVERTURE TO THIS PERFORMANCE... I HAVEN'T HEARD IT IN YEARS, BUT THE ANTICIPATION WAS PALPABLE -- YOU COULD FEEL IT THROUGH THE ORCHESTRA. THANKS!

  • Pure Talent....no one before or since could ever touch her! All of those McDonnas or McSingers d jour couldn't be Judy's used tampon! Here she was clearly in command and at her peak...and having a good time! Just Incredible!!

    ^^X^^

  • what a star!

  • i love hearing her talk to the audience!

  • regardless of your comments folks.....this performance is regarded by all to be the greatest ever recorded....or in history ....

  • i love it. I love how judy gets personal with her fans and always gave them a great performance. She is so hilarious so many times. It's wonderful!! I LOVE JUDY <3

  • Lorna&Liza always will be the daughters of Judy Garland. No matter what success they have achieved its impossible 2 over come a Mother who was an icon at 17 when she played dorothy in OZ. Liza has alot of Judy in her but also has much of her dad Vincente who was a brilliant Director in her. Liza also grew up @ MGM talent is inherited to some degree. Lorna always complained about living in her mother & sister's shadows but still makes a living using her Mother's fame and now sings her songs.

  • Judy Garland is One person that can never be surpassed. Even if her kids were brilliant singers or actresses it's impossible for either of them to compare to their mother. Judy was performing since she was 30 months old and died at 47 yrs old so for almost 45 yrs She worked. She got her training in Vaudeville and at MGM. She was born with an incredible Voice for being such a tiny person. That is what made her so amazing. Her speech and singing voice were totally Unique.

  • "Judy at Carnegie Hall" is available. Classic/Brilliant/Joy. (shame this clip don't have the music) Wonderful...Great Thanks, Judy-and Mort, and ALL! Blessings.

  • I wish I could find You go to my head @ Carnegie Hall.

  • Carnegie Hall, 1961. WOW.

Blessing to All- Listen. Greatness. (thanks, Mr. Lavorgna, Pappy - Love)

  • Liza copied her mother and became a poor imitation whose career peaked with ONE hit movie in 1972. Flatlined ever since. She won a sympathy Oscar, never opened another hit film, ho-strolled at Studio 54, and did a few forgotten, mediocre Broadway plays.

    Compare her achievements to Judy.

No comparison in a million, trillion years.

  • So, what's your point in that statement? It's a matter of opinion. And you think Judy Garland would be happy to hear you make her beloved daughter to be a flop? Really? That's pretty sad. What've you done in your career to compare to Minnelli's? Have you one an Oscar??

  • Liza's voice was greatly influenced by her mothers. Wow! The similarities are quite evident.

  • Best album of all time.

  • Oh I agree....I love it so much. My husband, our daughter and I were at Carnegie Hall this past Sunday evening and throughout the performance we were watching I thought of Judy many times and just wished I could have witnessed her performance...why was that never videotaped? I would think they have some footage...no? I guess not though or we would have seen it somewhere!

  • @tannylee11 You are right--best album of all time. :)

  • Her speaking voice was as captivating as her singing voice -- utterly unique.

  • @bvheath yup.......true.......I hate the fact of sounding like a judy hag.....but she was fuckin amazing.......

  • when she says "aren't you tired?" and they yell "noooo!", I get all verklempt.

  • Funny thing about Judy, she told stories

marvelously, but every story included the words, "Great big." Strange.

  • I always enjoy listening to Judy tell her stories, & the interaction she had with her audience ... so real. JUST BEING JUDY.

  • You mean . just being GARLAND - difference.... she knew Garland was a role, a icon, a concept, a persona... Like Maria Callas was split into Maria vs La Callas....

  • In that case ... JUST BEING FRANCES. SMILE.

  • lol, she was such a funny lady :)
