  • Good videos, thanks. What is it you call plasterboard in Oz? Gyp something?

  • Gyprock :)

  • ^ cheers mate! ;o)

  • I couldnt agree more. Sheet metal wins hands down, but most people dont have a budget of $15,000.00 plus to aircondition their home. 95% of domestic houses in Australia use flexible duct for this reason. Good point though, thanks for the feedback

  • Most people don't size the ducts large enough in a "spider system" and you have air flow problems. Personally I don't like them. If you use the good ole Trane ductulator, read the fine print. it is for round sheet meatl duct. Flex duct has more resistance to air flow. If you size the flex properly, you can get good air flow. I would install volume dampers just in case!

  • You can easily run 15 metres with flexible duct. you are correct. Sheet metal does perform better but is triple the price. You will get approximately 10% better performance from your sheet metal

  • We dont but we can certainly recommend installers in the melbourne area.

  • Do you install in melbourne Preston
