This boss would've been so much cooler if he didn't have just one eye. Seriously, why is Ocarina of Time full of one-eyed enemies? It's overkill for one idea.
@SugarPlumCheese Heh, this was actually my favorite Temple. I was dreading the Water Temple considering the overall hate for it but it wasn't that bad (especially on the 3DS). This boss is a pain in the a-hole though.
@MikamiPro I enjoyed the spirit temple. I could never do the water temple on the older version of OoT so i brought the 3ds version last week and i completed the game now, and the water temple wasn't too bad.. just very confusing with a annoying boss.
@SugarPlumCheese Yeah, Water Temple's a messy dungeon. Didn't have fun with it, but didn't hate it either. The most annoying parts for me were in-between the Temples finding out where to go next. Navi and Saria aren't much help too.
@MikamiPro Ah yeah that was abit confusing too, navi is definately useless haha. I did end up looking at a walkthrough alot because you don't really know where to go next.
i actually used fairies in bottles for this i also equipped din's fire just in case those hands got out of control (which they did) dont use ur fairies when u die they fully revive u and btw inside the case theres a booklet it has two websites in it for help can some1 plz list the websites?

the only reaosn i had a hard time with this boss wa sbecuz of how he looked e.e lol, and the hands made a creepy sound, i cant imaigne how he'll be in the ocarina of time remake
Bongo Bongo is the demented spirit of a corrupt person who used to entertain the king with his expertise in playing the bongos. He had to resort to stealing and murdering to earn money, he was then punished by having his hands cut off and being sent to the guillotine. He as the evil spirit that came out of the well and took refuge in the Shadow Temple.
Bongo Bongo reminds me of Andross from Star Fox 64, with his invisible arms and floating hands, not to mention his creepy dark voice u hear from him a little bit
you kill him because he has taken that old women who looked after zelda as a prisoner down the well and if he escapes from the well where she sealed him he will destroy all of hyrule and kick the shit out of everythin, plus u gota kill him also to save the women and get the sage power to kill gannon
the boss ganon in ww(wind waker) in caterpillar form was pretty hard cause you cant target his tail moving around 50km an hour and you have to hit it with arrows.
I thought the reason for Bongo Bongo's death was that he was terrorizing/killing the nearby town. It just isn't smart to leave things like that around.
Anyone ever thought of how Nintendo very much featured bosses with lose hands in their games? In Mario 64, there was something like that in the Pyramid. Then there's this, and then there's one in Wind Waker, in the Tower of Gods I think.
you know when you think about it your right bongo bongo hasnt done anything to bad to get killed imprisoned maybe but killing him wouldnt be fair...nice portal quote by the way
Remember when you went to the Bottom of Well while Link was a child? Probably when Ganondorf took Hyrule by force he released Bongo Bongo from his prison underneath Kakariko. The only thing that doesn't fit in the game is that there is no enemies in Kakariko when Bongo Bongo attacks it or after he went to the Shadow temple.
im terrible at this boss the exact reason im watching this

the reason why you kill him is because gannon created him and you need to kill him to "awaken" the sage

Since your shield is pretty much useless for this boss, I recommend using the giant's/biggoran's sword, to kill him quicker

They should make a remake of ocarina to the wii.
Like update graphics and maka all bosses 3 times harder.
It´s not fun to battle bosses in zelda games except majoras mask.
They were entertaining and alot harder than all other zelda game in 3D.

Well they say that in Master Quest of OoT the bosses and dungeons are hard "even that experienced players are in trouble".
I never played MQ, but my brother did. I think he was annoyed ..

He is indeed evil.
Want to know why he was in that well in the first place ?
The Sheikah sealed him in there due to the fact that he was torturing & murdering the innocent people of Kakarito Village.
