What can we say about that, Aligftr? Brawl is not as much game of speed as Melee. Some aerials will always have lag if you short-hop, although you can auto-cancel some of them by pressing the attack button early enough. Mostly, though, you just have to out-think your opponent with mind games.
The transition from Melee to Brawl didn't take me long to get used to, and I was tourney level Melee also.
Loving the improved Aerial Dodge though. Before it was stopping then un-recoverable free- fall. Now you move and you can recover afterwards too, which is so fucking nice.
We lost WD'ing, Shfling, L Canceling etc, but there's still a competitive aspect to the game, as we can see here. You're pretty skilled. I thought I was good at Dash Grabbing. =X
MK's speed and range is awesome! that constant f-air is definetely a staple. kinda reminds me of marth in melee (not sure how good he is now). i see MK's showing some great top tier potential.
lol, I'm sure he was trying to cancel the Thundershock with a ground attack, but failed, or the move doesnt have that capability... Besides you don't know who you're talkin too...
Liked how you used his Up special for often than any other player so far. It's a quick stong move that should be used for the bulk of his kills. Though it'll have a limited use for edgeguarding, as shown in the video. Though it's likely possible to go out a bit, then immediately point down for the edge. I know I'll be testing a bit with it...
