@cutertooter If the fish is frozen, and kept completely frozen for a minimum of 72 hours it kills these kinds of parasites. (if they even exist, because it is pretty rare)

I run a sushi restaurant and there is a misconception about how sushi should never be frozen because once it's frozen, its not 'fresh' anymore. If you don't freeze it, then you are vulnerable to these kinds of parasites. Canadian food regulation requires you to freeze it in order to serve it raw.

So just ask the chef.

Lucky me, I have an organic garden in my backyard and don't have to worry much about food poisoning because I don't use manure. The 4 major components of soil are rocks and minerals, organic matter (micro-organisms and plants), water, air.

You may think you are better than the populous because you grow organic food but commercial organic food is still grown in fertalizer and uses pestacides. Also, just because the crop is deamed "organic" doesn't make it immune to "run off" that can make people sick.
