I love the concept of this video. Being natural is beautiful. Good hair is healthy hair. Natural oils and shampoos/conditioners will nourish the hair. Knowledge of self is the best.
im glad u made a response to this cus when u said "alot of women are scared to see their natural image',it is true. we are so wrapped up with the images we see in the media,it influences us to look a certain way in order to be accepted in our culture as well as "society standards". now dreadlocks arent for everyone and im not knocking women for being in tuned with their looks cus i admit im attracted to women who keep themselves up but why hate yourself in a natural state u feel me?
Preach it! ..lol. I can definitely say that going back natural and then becoming loc'd is one of the best decisions I've ever made. It's a great feeling when you can express your naturalness (not sure if that's a word lol) despite what others may say and being content with that. Bravo for this vid!
@septemberlove04 Well, as a natural man it is my JOB to educate and give thses beautiful women and men of both the NATURAL and PROCESSED world about the joys and loves about being natural. It's cool.. It's refreshing. It is uplifting. Thank you so much for commenting on this vid.. i mean the sound was off and I may have been a lil off topic but I cam across with a view or two.
I miss ur vids hubby!...but I guess its better for you not to post allday errday...but yea I def agree w/ u on the naturality effect and being scared of their own image or that their hair would be unmanageable...wateva it is, but I'm happy I'm loc'd and I'm learning about my hair everyday..it helps you learn about YOU and find your inner beauty
Well, I was already natural, but being locked made me feel really, really natural. But I'm just self conscious!! I have low confidence, but I'm trying work on that!! But when I have children, they are not getting a perm!! Because for some kids, the perm really get in their heads. LITERALLY. They don't know the true definition of beauty. They make themselves look like their embarassed about their roots!!! They be having stomp teams, but them girls are freaking permed!! WTF? Luv this video!!
