This was a nice video for this song. I have recently started bringing my daughter to "youth night" at the local united church. She was baptized as well. Although I am not religious and was not raised in Christianity I was singing this song for days after the meeting. It is a nice catchy tune.

The one here at The Basilica /Cathedral of The Immaculate Conception in Denver is a gift of the Holy See, John Paul II. The Madonna & Child are very dark and Beautiful. This is the gift from the Holy See that was given to us when His Holiness elevated our Cathedral to a minor Basilica.

I got this 45 when it came out in 73. The great thing about this arrangement, (hard to hear on this mono channel) it was very early disco influence with the strings and pop beat. I don't remember if Sister Janet was excommunicated or not-- this was very controversial when it came out, many Catholics (and Rome) considered it sacrilegious, but her desire in making the record was only to encourage the younger generation to remember to pray the Lord's Prayer. I certainly did, it was one of my faves.
