Hey the reason your display turns down so fast is you need to go to the menu, settings, power managment. The you can change it to where you want it.

I have a question, does this phone accept the new Verizon "sim" style cdma cards? Because i just got a new cheapo phone with the new $69 unlimited plan and have found this phone on eBay for ~$100 and would like to buy one along with the wireless card. I have heard many great things about this phone and can't wait on having one!!

I have the Verizon Q9C with the WiFi card...I use Messenger, Skype(chat and calls), Facebook, Gmail and Hotmail. Pretty much everything I do on my laptop...I've had it for a year and it's great!! I hate blood sucking data plans

the q9m is pretty much the same thing with 2 home screens. one for media and music and stuff and one for like messages. pretty much is like a music version of the phone.

hey man great review i am headed to the verizon store today to get this phone. a couple of quick questions i am in college and I am currently on a family plan with them, if i buy this phone i wont have to upgrade to a data plan is that correct? i can stay on my current plan? and does the internet wifi card come with the phone? or do you have to buy it separately? and is the internet/wifi free on this phone or do you have to pay thanks ! loved the video and keep up the great work!

Yes, for older phones such as the q9c you DO NOT have to purchase a data plan.

Have you had any defects with the phone? im asking this because it is a common issue with PDA, smartphones, and blackberry phones. this phone im looking to get because my puppy was chewing on my LG voyager and messed up the whole touch screen and it would cost me 200 bucks to get replaced.
