    great band though

  • freddies always sounded more than just " AMAZING "..but here he sounded "EXTRA AMAZING "

  • The best concert in the history of Queen

  • best of magic tour!

  • Read the comment "Queen decided to film this special concert and borrowed ALL Hungarian film cameras ;-)" this was so huge. Back in those days.

  • 4 people can go Fk themselves

  • Freddie Isten eltessen ott ahol vagy.......te vagy a legjobb eloado es a legjobb enekes

  • Beautiful Hungary + Amazing Freddie = <3

  • this band is like a monsters when they played live!

  • Beatles, Queen... Bha, I don't give anything about it. Shut up and listen.

  • for TYM the key board ruined the guitar! Brian may as well be playing through his deacy amp not miked up!

  • Freddie looked especially good that night I think.

  • svp faite ce concert en blu ray !!!

  • In the lap of the Gods revisited sounds very good!

  • @carooomargheee co-sign! <3

  • The best sounding guitar ever

  • Queen is life

Queen c'est la vie et ça le restera indéfiniment

  • best concert ever by any band in the history of rock

  • freddie mercury..a simple kind of man..lover of life...singer of songs

  • Wojsla you stfu up with your polish language.

  • they should release it on DVD!!! i would SO buy it!

  • fans form poland say: freddy.. zajebisty jestes kurwa mać:)

  • @wojsla i can certainly tell you they don't.. you're just fucked up in the head

  • Queen > Beatles by far.

  • jajefa15 buahahahahahahahahaha

  • Roger and Brian should dig out the whole concert and release it as an official live release.

  • @ jajefa

FUCK THE BEATLES, THIS IS ROCK.

  • Queen are the best !

  • I'd actually place The Beatles and Queen, Pop bands, not Rock Bands. (Remembering Pop means Popular)

  • If you say that, you imply that rock cannot be popular? (As it is EITHER "popular" or "rock"?)

  • Rock is a genre as is Pop. Both can be popular. Queen did a bit of everything, the odd rock tune included, but I wouldn't say they or the Beatles were a full on rock band(s)

  • I think its all about the context though of the debate, at the time some of thier stuff was rather heavy, esp for the 70s, I'd personally class them as 'soft' rock, though your right in the fact they did dabble into a bit of everything, from ballads through to some songs almost resembling full on metal songs.

  • If you don't like Queen, why are you listening to their music and commenting on it?

  • @jajefa15 You say the beatles are the best band in ENGLAND? well Queen are they best band IN THE WORLD

  • The beatles did not do rock of well, alone for a reason freddie do not sing with them . Because of it this if it is a rock

  • The beatles SUCKS!! They are SHIT, SCUM, compared to Queen!

  • this is a fast version it ruins it y the fuck has it been fast forwarded

  • best fu%/$ band ever!!!!!!!!!

  • what is the name of the song at 2:30 plz let me know xx

  • In The Lap Of The Gods... What a beautiful live version of this song. WAY BETTER than a record.

  • Queen - In The Lap Of The Gods

  • this i think is their best concert. there's so much energy.

  • This is much heavier than maiden without any Devils

  • It does not matter if upbeat or not, his voice was at his best nobody compares

  • i have live at budapest.....simply brilliant, seems to be a bit sped up compared to wemebley>>

  • I was just thinking that after watching part 1.

  • I was amazed about freddie's vocal performance during this concert. This is show even better then Wembley I think. It's a pity that I don't have this concert on DVD (yet).

    Really a great show!!

  • 2nd song is Tie Your Mother Down

  • Freddie's voice in this concert is much better than Wembley...I suspect he gave this special concert 120 percent!

  • i love in the lap of the gods

  • Magnifico Queen=freddie ,mercury!

  • The bits when brain and rodger sing back up on seven seas of rhye ("Sister") is awesome! They really got the harmony down, which is so hard to do live.

  • The best gig.

  • what??

  • I think you've got some complexes ^^

  • and the wristbands XD

  • What an awesome introduction to western music that was!

  • Great vocals! In Budapest Freddie was better than in London! Strange, because this concert is after Wembley, so he need to be more tired...

  • I've heard something that Freddie was catched a cold before Wembley and thats why he couldn't sing as good as here..but damn this concert rocks

  • Vocal fold nodules infact, so it narrowed his range. Still awesome though, still an immensely captivating performance

  • could u please tell me the title of the second song?its just amazing.....and by the way, when did they perform this concert?

  • 2nd song is called In The Lap Of The Gods (revisited) and they performed this concert on the 27th of july 1986

  • found it thanks anyway ;)

  • If you ask me, if Freddie sing that gud with a cold at wembley , then no one can ever compare with him, R.I.P Legend

  • Uwielbiam ...

  • rockss!!

  • I can not get enough of Queen and Freddie. Love all of them. R.I.P. Freddie dear.

  • sorry but this is not as good as wembley, still unbelievably brill but wembley is just unexplainable

  • you have to be kidding.... the Wembley show was great but without a doubt this performance is FAR superior... don`t judge the picture or the sound quality judge the performance in itself... Freddie`s volcals in this concert were AMAZING!

  • why would i doubt it, i've got live at the summit and the sound and quility is shit but 1 of my favs

  • I usually ignore people like you and your ignorant comments, but I'm an American and I won't let you disrespect our British friends. Despite our new Prez doing so. (We Americans are horrified and apologize.) Great Britain as always been there for us as we have for them, I hope. Just ticked me off, someone calling the Brits "lazy". What does "pure" blood have to do with anything? Go back to drawing swastikas all over your schoolbooks. (To everyone else, I apologize for my outburst.)

  • ??? That was supposed to be a reply to "lovebomb79", below, but it showed up here, don't know why. Probably a good time for me to go get some sleep. :-)

  • There is no other singer, performer, artist who gave so much of himself to his fans as Freddie. One and the only unsurpassable Freddie Mercury!

  • I will add three names as an addendum to your list. Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, Israel Kamakawiwo Ole ( Hawaiian over the rainbow ukelele song). Check them out!!! WOOOO!

  • Better than wembley!

  • should have released this instead of wembley on a dvd and cd

  • I agree. Probably didn't because it was 1 semitone up. They could have easily changed that but that would take out some of the "magic" of this concert

  • I still reckon it would have herd good, because there are vids of this concert which have been put to the normal running speed, its still sounds better

  • in the lap of the gods... John sings on a mute - death mike :-)

thats all about his singing and his voice :-)

  • shhh!!!

    don't tell him that!!!

  • I just love the way he sing and roder and brian sing that song....."Forever, ever,ever.... I want the CD.

    Grande performance!!!

  • i can watch this man sing all day even if he is just singing random words that mean nothing!

  • same i can listen to queen watch them live anything with them i can listen/watch all day with out getting tired of it they just have that kind effect on u with the music

  • such fantastic versions of these songs -- my favorite live performances, actually.

Such a wonderful band; such talent and creativity.

  • I can still hardly believe it:) after 22 years at all! It's amaizing!!!

  • The Greatest group ever!

  • this is like live at wembley but mercury sings much better here

  • Freddie Mercury still lives in my heart!!!!!Great voice, great Frontman...absolutly Fantastic! No-one like him!!!!

  • He was such an amazing singer and frontman. Whenever I think the word "Queen" I get this image of Freddie Mercury in his costume. Freddie was the perfect man. But what was actually amazing was the fact that he actually had problems with his voice, He couldn't sing notes that were too high yet look at him in this concert. The band speacially raised the pitch of every song for this whole concert and they pulled it off beautifully.

    Legend, Freddie Mercury. =]

  • I hope that all of you are voting for freddie mercury on votenumber1 . c o m!!!

He is such a legend. Hat's off to a great singer, and a fantastic man. RIP.

  • Lets no talk about his personal, its a matter of respect to Freddie. Our bond with him is the music he shared to all of us.RIP king Mercury. Thanks Oberon once again for your kindness sharing this with us.can i ask u favor where i can buy all this videos.thanks

  • He got sick sometime in the late 80s(?) and suffered terribly.

  • Maybe so but you can be HIV+ long before aids kicks in. Like I said just a theory - cant remember where it was in the wembley gig, just have a look for yourselves.

  • Oh and Freddie didn't admit that he had aids until the end anyway. That being said I think his performance here was better than at wembley.

  • Queen left us with an extraordinary body of material. Either way. Thank you Freddie.

  • agreed, bloody legend!

  • vote for Freddie !

    votenumber1 . c o m!!!

  • there will never be such a great band, we 'll never see such a show again, the best music went to heaven with freddie.

  • i totally agree

  • i love the little bit of 'Liar' they play between 'sven seas of rhye' and the start of 'tear it up'

  • He seems tired, I saw this and it made me cry. I love him so.

  • Their best show

  • Awesome. Thank you Queen.

  • what year is this? he seems to be leaning on things a lot....

  • it's from the magic tour so the year is '86

  • Why the thumbs down? I love Freddie Mercury!! I just feel so sad about his illness, and can't bear to see him seem tired. I didn't mean it in a mean way, more that I worry about him.

  • He wasn't ill in 1986

  • I would say he was, I have theory if you look closely at the wembley gig, there is a bit where he says the papers are saying that queen are going to split up and he says they are talking out of their arse, he said they are going to probably play till they or one of them dies, and then looks at Brian May winks, who then in turn nods and says ok. I think they knew way back then. Its just a theory but check it out for yourselves. Love Queen ♥

  • I saw that too. I don't think the band knew yet though - but he did look a bit thinner in that concert I thought.

I remember reading something about jim (and I think he said it in the untold story documentary) hutton saying Fred found out he was HIV positive in spring of 87'.

I think saying they'd "play until one of us damn well dies" was Freddie's way of saying to the rest of them, "I'll be here as long as I can" even if they weren't sure what it meant right then.

  • edisonfrisk, well jim hutton said that freddie only found out in spring of 87 so he wouldnt have known at wembley, and he didnt tell the members of the band he had hiv till a lot later so brian wouldnt have known either

  • yeah you're probably right I am reading something into it, but seriously looks like a 'moment' at wembley, could have been that the rumours of a break up had indeed a little bit of substance to them and brian and freddie resolved the differences, firming up the pact in that little thing I noticed at wembley - again just my thoughts :-) ♥ Queen

  • He wasn't ill in 1986

  • lol...i think that i would be leaning on things a lot too after expending all of that energy! I agree with h4yterz...a VERY underated show

  • incredible show!!! must be very daunting for any of today's fancy stars to watch this!!!

  • Live at Wembley does not come close to this.

  • incredible performance. In the lap of the god revisited is one of the best song ever!

  • And one of the most underated!!!

  • awesome band.there will be no other freddie mercury!

  • poor hungarians... yet they were lucky.

being exposed to the uncensored impact of a dazzling rock legend was not common thing in eastern europe during those times.

    they must've been stunned

  • I"m from hungary:) WE're very lucky but I'm only 13 years old:( so I canT see the show

  • he shouldve sang like this at wembley!

he puts more emotion into it, more effort.

  • Great performance. i just would have preferred it if they hadn't cut some of these songs short

  • ther is infact another queen concert from 1980 were like this concert it is speeded up a semitone, there are some clips of it on youtube

  • my god, Freddie sings to much!!!!!!

  • Best version of Tie Your Mother Down but it was cut short

  • Happy Birthday Freddie!!<3

  • YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY XD

  • you have good gigs and bad ones..i thought freddie wasn't 100% at wembley...also at the wembley gig it sounds like they tuned down 1/2 a note...here they are in awesome form!!!

  • hehe in fact Budapest is sped-up a (semi?)-halftone. AFAIK it was filmed on 35mm and during the transfer it paced up 1 of 25 frames per second.... Google knows more :) but true, Budapest sounds great!

  • wooooooooooow Queen thank you forever and ever and ever and ever...I dream with you ..with your songs..with your voice Freddie...you never die :-)

  • Fantastic! =)

  • And to the TaylorMade dope who the hell brought up or mentioned HIV?? The internet is so scary people spend way too much on their computers they start hearing things that they want to say!! I have read all the comments on this and not a single person mentioned HIV yet your response is like a direct response to a post that doesn't even exist!!

  • yeah, show Mr. Mercury some respect

  • dont be such a dope freddie on his death bed sounds great we are all just chating about him He sets such a high standard we are just stating a pure fact he sang better in Hungry period his own words and our own ears. People get a life! Fact Fact Fact not opinion!!! um the world is round by the way :)

  • i disagree with anyone who says his voice is not good here he sounds great.

  • they need to release the full concert on official cd and dvd, it would sell like mad

  • they shld release it on DVD, coz it was already out on VHS....so why not DVD aswell

  • This is great and I agree that Freddie's voice sounds better here than at Wembley! also BillytheFLash I'm a kid and I know Queen and awesome! The best of the best! Thanks for posting this! xx

  • Hands down Freddie sounds much better at this show the then Wembley!! He said it himself you can hear he has a cold at the Wembly show

  • nah i think he sounds better at Wembley

  • opionin period of yours Freddie was so sick wembley.. his own words he almost cancelled cause he could barely sing... Freddie worked with doctors and coaches to pull it off. Listen to them song for song.. Do you own the Hungry show?

  • So sick?...yer and nothin 2 do with his illness, coz he werent even diagnosed with HIV till January 1987...Freddie's voice was gettin worse, his nodules were apparently gettin bigger and his throat was tightenin up more n more, which is why he wanted 2 cancel

  • taylormayed07, i think he probably already had hiv by then. most of the time people have it for years before they get diagnosed with the disease. this was just half a year or so before he got diagnosed so he probably was already sick and just didnt know it yet :(

  • Contact me if you want this concert on DVD. Both NTSC and PAL versions available. I got an HD source which I converted to DVD, complete with custom menus. DVD quality video. Stereo Sound.

  • it's just a real shame all this had to come to an end and this was their last ever tour, if Freddie was still alive Queen would be kicking all the shitty bands asses that are around today and showing them what rock music really is about, of course if Queen were still going i don't think most of the shit bands would be around, because they would watch Queen and realise how shit they are compared to them, if only that happened eh.

  • Amen!! Queenrulz.. indeed

  • The band is on fucking fire! It's the best I've seen so far... They're tearing the place appart. It looks like they not soo god at english tough, Freddie goes: It's so good to be here tonight, It's so good to be here tonight, and the croed doesn't say a word..

  • In Budapest, the band was in top form and their songs were faster than Wembley 86. But it's fantastic, as usual !!

    God Save The Queen !!

You were a beautiful singer Freddie !! We Love You !!

  • the tape is sped up for one reason or another, but it sounds amazing

  • the songs r faster, coz the tape afterwards had bn speeded up, for sum reason, best known 2 themselves i guess

  • what happened here? all of them looked very very excited!

  • This is so awesome. Brings a smile to my face. Thanks! Post anything that reminds the kids today that Freddie was the best front man ever and just how great this band was.

  • Queen are the best fucking band in the world oh yeah!!!!!!!!!!!

  • amazing Guitar intro for Tear it Up!! Love it:)yes, I love Lap of the Gods also, awesome song.

  • beautiful version of In The Lap Of The Gods. Queen rocks. FM will never die...

  • man, freddie's voice here is an absolute force! Unbelievable that he could turn in another performance thats wembley-esque only 10 days later if thats true.

  • I Love Queen. Freddie woz the best !, And she is the best !!!

  • but is from the same tour!

  • this concert was before or after the wembley performance in 86?

  • its after. the Wembley gigs were 11th and 12th (the latter being the one that was released as 'Live at Wembley') of July 86 and this was recorded on the 27th. if you search 'Magic Tour' on wikipedia theres loads of info :)

  • top video, got this gig on Vhs when i was 13 and watched it over and over till it woreout. is great to see it agian. thanks for posting dude!
