This could have actually been a really nice game.

Sadly the budget category, cheesy style and ugly visuals killed it.

The hunting/survival theme is interesting though, would be nice to see a serious title in this genre. I liked Far Cry Instincts too, but aside from a few really nice ideas it was a brainless shoot 'em up.

If so... I wasn't meaning in a literal sense. The people who made this game wanted a "Scary animal". A wolf seemed like a perfect candidate to them. As an outdoorsman, I know what your saying, however wolf attacks are still very rare, and only occur during a time of desperation, or if the wolf feels endangered by the human's presence. These are not real wolves, simply an artists rendering. I enjoy wolf heirarchy, it is so... simple.

MY RATING OF THESE GAMES:

DH1 - Best Hunting Game Ever!

DH2 - A Good video game, but that kind of sequel that doesn´tlives up to the original.

DH2009 - A Very good game, but still inferior to the original.

DH2011 - Not as good as the original, but an extremely good game nontheless. One of my favourites!

1. Kriss SMG - big .45 cal ammo (most SMGs use 9mm eg MP5), is very light, accurate

2. Glock 21 -uses same .45 ammo, works underwater 4 zombie fish, in sand 4 snakes etc

3. Gurkha Kukri - angled machete for chopping heads and bush beats crowbar

4. Padding - unlike in human only apolcalypse u must protect legs from bites as well as arms shoulders neck

In states like Michigan, the hunter participation turnout is quite imperative for the economic health of the state. Some people simply purchase meat from the market which is produced commercially. Commercially farmed animals is sensless wasteful killing and disease. Hunting is a bit more morality, fairness and cash.

Why doesn't the gun shoot where it's aimed? Duck hunt at least had that down. Plus I wanted to hunt, not be hunted. Can't shoot what you can't see while it's tearing you apart. The crosshairs on the screen are about 1 foot higher than where you aim. Hard to use quickly, too busy watching the screen crosshairs instead of just point and shoot. Nintendo was way ahead of this technology 25 yrs ago.

The "Dangerous Hunts"-series is making no sense at all! Why would every single animal want to kill you? These games are for urbanised, uneducated people who actually think this is what hunting is like. Big Game Hunter 2010 and Outdoor Adventures 2010 is much more realistic.
