@adelsaint A seed has a 50/50 chance to be either male or female, so you can't really tell, however you can buy feminized seeds but from what I hear they are a little harder to grow.

Never directly dip the plant into the gel container. pour some gel into a glass, so you don't contaminate the whole gel container.

This guy is Cloning WRONG!!! you are supposed to take the clones from the bottom of the plant because that is where there are more hormones in the plant giving the clone a better chance to live. Besides that really good series!!

i think you should cut the clone off at 90degree angle on the plant then do a 45degree on the clone. this way the clone as more area to root but the plant cut wont be as susceptible to disease

You eliminated your weaker plants early, then took cuttings from your last two so you could determine their sex. What if the only two you kept turned out to be male plants? would you have to start from seeds all over again?

I took a clone off each of my best 12 plants when they were 6 weeks old. I then put the big plants under 12/12. When they show their sex I will keep the girls. This way I get bud quicker. One of my South African Kwazulu's is 6.5 weeks old and already 0.800mm tall.

Growing hydro allows you to give nutrients easier. with soil you may become nutrient locked and the plant mite die. and if you keep a mother plant that you clone off of you can produce more plants to bud and they grow at the same rate and bud at the same rate. also with a mother plant you can keep cloneing and if you have the space you can keep buding indefintly. for as long as you keep the mother alive youll always have clones.

hes growing sinsemelia meaning with out seed. and the cloning solution you buy at any gardening store ie Rootone,Clonex Etc. Cloning solution helps the Clipping establish a healthy root system.

you dont want male plants because they will polenate the female plants and make seeds, seeds arent what you smoke, you smoke bud, which only comes from female plants. If the female plants are polenated they concentrate on making seeds and not flowers (that become bud)

remember one male flower (it produces thousands) can seed an entire garden. If you're looking for a few good seeds, separate a couple of male plants and trim them down to just a few stems. Put film canister under opening flower and tap (they open early in the budding process). Use small paint brush to dip pollen and lightly "paint" a FEW lower female flowers (mark for IDing). Wait until FULLY ripened before picking. DO NOT keep in same room as females...you'll kick yourself.

to remove the smell you need a carbon filter connected to your ventilation system. If you buy your vent setup from a growshop-they will have a filter to match perfectly, otherwise youll have to look into building one-its not that hard, just a bucket, some chicken wire and a bunch of aquarium carbon. Ozone gennys can be useful but aint perfect ont heir own-carbon filter is a must! Theres lots of info about growing online, forums and such.....

Buds= fruit= vaginas. No such thing as male vaginas (unless of course it's a hermaphrodite, then there will be some vaginas on the male plant). I have heard you can cook with males, and get a little high- overall, not worth it.

Hey, you can also float your clones in a small cup of clean water mixed with rutone or whatever clone stuff you choose. You poke a toothpick through a styrofoam packing chip then feed your clone through the packing chip. The packing chip being heavier then the clone keeps the green side up and this keeps your clone contsantly fed as well as eliminates the air bubble problem in the process. This worked well for Mom and Dad.

the cloning stuff is just what it is says it is, you dip the clipping on the plant into the solution and make the conditions pretty good, and it will develop into a plant, its pretty cheap, here in Australia you pay bout $10 for a small container of it, get it from any garden store.
