The problem with the 360 version is that Bono shouting most of the song. Here he has a more laid back delivery. Plus he does the falsetto here, not like in 360. And the ending is epic in this version.

No need to compare this masterpiece to today's 360 version. We can't expect Bono at his age to travel as far into space as he used to; it's just not possible. Same with Bowie; they used to travel far 'out there' to get to the other place where the magical muses dwell. U2 are only second to the Beatles (Lennon) but are actually number one regarding consistency. This song is in their top 5 and a similar genre to Unforgettable Fire, which I believe is their best song. Lennon was best of all. Ben

Adam's bass at 418 is awesome. Bono at 210 and Edge's ultraviolet vocals kick ass. There are some many good parts in this live version.
