  • Peerless, Timeless beauty! Worth every single penny! . . .

  • I dunno. It don't sound too healthy?

  • I had a dream I owned this car

  • "old car"? No. T I M E L E S S

  • I'll keep my Acura !

  • uhm.. is it the car or him that doesnt know how to drive?

  • oil burner tik tik tik tik tik

  • If you guys really like this car, I highly recommend watching a movie called "The Gumball Rally", from 1976. Not only are there several very sweet cars, but one of the main characters drove this exact model, and there's plenty of footage of that. The sound of the cars in the movie is incredible, and not just by 1976 standards. This Ferrari Daytona Spyder, a Shelby Cobra, and a modified Camaro all have big scenes in the movie, and they sound insane. There's also a 911 and a Mercedes 300SL.

  • Love the NASCAR jacket hanging just next to the Ferrari display......a perfect dichotomy, what next...is there a Dale # 3 bumper sticker on the GTB/4 ?

  • I believe this was the car we owned. Kevin please contact me. :)

  • who and were is this who owns this

  • HOT

  • il give anyone £1000000 if they find me this car

  • @barnaby666 you end up finding it? haha. my dad has one, but red.

  • @barnaby666 one million pounds? i just found it in this clip. press play. i'll forward my bank details. thanks.

  • This is one of the greatest ferraris of all time. the true essence of Ferrari's breeding can be seen in this car.. marvelous magical, i can't think of a word any lesser than that....

  • you are the man

  • nice car.

  • ...Nice car....but the engine is blowing oil smoke and knocking. Some needs to take a hard look at the motor...drop the rod bearing and check the clearances as well as find the source of of that oil, maybe valve seals.

  • I hope they fixed that knocking bearing.

    I drove one of these.

The difficult thing is to synchronize the three double barrel Weber carbs.

    A great car.

  • @squizzoo erm, SIX carbs.

  • I want this car soo much!

  • Imagine if Miami Vice had been able to use a real Daytona. One of the reasons they used kit cars is soo when they drilled holes for camera mounts they wouldn't tear up a real car. I went for a ride in a 308 GTS QV one time. Awesome car! Great engine note. It's a shame that the Daytona is soo rare and expensive that most people won't get to experience one.

  • Ferrari threatened to sue Michael Mann Productions, NBC and the kit car maker, so they blew up the Daytona kit car on the MV "When Irish Eyes Are Crying" episode; placated, Ferrari donated two new white Testarossas to the show. A third one was given for stuntwork, which was, ironically, a kit car.

  • Drool...

  • Sounds like a bit of a rattle in there somewhere???? Beautiful car!

  • And to think.... The kit car replica on Miami Vice brought back the enthusiasm of the original. How Ironic is that?

  • I love this car... but its not worth 1 milion dollars. Anything more than 250.000$ is speculation

  • This isn't just a car, this is a work of art. And a really rare one. Hence the asking price

  • google "classicdriver" site and search for some Daytona.

  • my dream!

  • nice condition but whats the clicking in the engine?

  • Great car

  • best looking car in the world by a long shot

  • i have this car in blue

  • My Uncle has one in blue too! His is a hard-top though.

  • i bet mine is better

  • Yours probably is better. My uncle's does need some work done but it's not a bad runner.

  • what color are the gauge lights?

  • I can remember off the top of my head, its been a while. But i'll try and find out. Im going to see him next week.

  • thanks

  • what color are the gauge lights?

  • cool

  • Good Job Brian!!! Ooh, gotta love that classic Ferrari.

  • Ah, ok then.

  • Problem with the GTS/4 is that you'll never know for sure whether it's a genuine spider or a decapitated coupé, unless you compare the chassis number. Only 122 open Daytonas were built.

  • This one's the real deal, owned by the owner of Champ Car ;)

  • @Corbon440 the only way you know it's your decapitated girlfriend is if you check the head. and i ate that.

  • ahhh boludo, suena para el orto ese motor..... !!!! golpea todo .

  • Damn, they look good in yellow.

  • Ever since Miami Vice I've been in love with the 365 GTS/GTB4 Daytona & the Spyder version. (Even though the "Vice" car was a replica on a 'vette frame. Thought it was damned generous of Ferrari to give the show a real Ferrari TR too.

  • the ferrari daytona is by far one of the best cars ever made

  • oH SHIT that the stinger from vice city!!!

  • yeah lol

  • One of the most beautiful spyders ever -

great in dark metallic blue with matching cream interiors.Rarest if original and not a replica from cutting a coupe....eventhough

with bone stock chassis and mechanic=

  • Daytona Spyders looked best in Yellow. Was not this car in an early Miami Vice ep?, driven by a crooked lawyer?

  • it was on the 2nd season, but it looked very best on black, like the crockett one

  • Engine has to be rebuilt....

  • nahhhh man...the valves just need lashed and its probably a cold day...hence the smoke from the tailpipes.(The valves are whats making the "ticking" noise off of the tappets).

  • Maybe, but the white smoke means rings leaking...

  • Or just condens vapour from the exhaust.. just white smoke doesn't say much; can you smell it via your PC monitor?

  • What a beautiful car ! The yellow looks so nice with the black top and silver wheels.

  • i love this ferrari, in black, like sonny crockett´s one in miami vice!!!but, is complete awesome
