ok i have 280 degrees on my steering wheel , thats why its so hard , i have noticed that the wheel settings and car set is more important then my drift skills. drifting better now , a hole different style of driving ( on ice).

@Scanon66 its a lot easier to drift in GT5, they made the cars a bit easier to control once they get into a slide than they really should be i think, i got quite good at drifting in GT5 after a few hours of practise but it still is a good challenge. to drift in rfactor you will need to practise quite a bit since its a more hardcore sim.

jees , i try that for a while , this is extreme hard to do in rfactor drifting like that , or maybe hé plays with keybord and let the computer handle the turn , i just dont now.

Hahah, you stupid tokyo drift kids. That movie was garbage. That will never happen in real life on flat roads. A car sliding sideways, powersliding, will never be faster than one going straight. Drifting is only meant for downhill where the car can utilize the gravity pushing it to enter a corner at a faster speed than regular braking.

@3DSpecialFX you can map the cams as you map the rest of controls, have a look at the ingame mapping section (where you set your brake, steering etc)

These games aren't like need for speed arcadey, have a go at one and you may change your opinion ;) gran turismo had a competition to find a racing driver from the game and they found one and entered him into a professional race. Dude. How do you get the car to do such wide angled Slides? I can Drift, but not that wide... And i'm drifting a BMW M3 E92 completely standard... TELL ME YOUR SECRETS!

this R34 is tuned for drifting, therefore is easier to drift than the BMW.

You can tune the bmw a bit, but is much harder to drift than with this one. Try oversteer mod, they are cars tuned for drifting, you should find it easier.

try when ur about to lose control accelerate more, if about to spin out, put in the clutch and then go back to accelerating after u let go the clutch, if u put the clutch in too long and stopped drifting, make the clutch bite (like clutch control) and accelerate will dabbing the clutch to biting point and no clutch at all.

then go into the mode where u can shift urself, and around 3rd gear when entering a corner, go down to 2nd (depends what car really) and then ur car should lose a bit of control, and u then accelerate so that it loses control (the tail) and then control it
