I don't think it's intentional. I think the hot dog guy is trying to keep cool, but his grip on the ketchup bottle is so strong, he sprays ketchup all over Pac-Man's face.

I call it "Determined". It's probably a tangent in the "Angry" and "Enraged" emotions. He will do things he wouldn't normally do, like walk past the Danger sign in the mountain pass, jump across the rooftops without assistance, and so on. There are some cases, however, where he'll make a dumb move that will get himself killed.

You don't collect pellets. The Power Pellets are basically smart bombs for Ghosts and Pac-Man's mood. You find them outside Pac-Man's house and in secret areas. The game has Pac-Man do menial tasks and get eaten by a gum monster.

You have infinite lives in this game. The Power Pellets are used to kill the ghosts that pop up in unexpected places, to bring Pac-Man's mood back to normal regardless of emotion, and to fight the final boss. You only get 3, but Pac-Man's tree outside of his house generates infinite amounts, and there are some hidden around in the world.

It's probably a Collector's item nowadays, and if it is, it would probably be very expensive to get a physical copy. When I bought the game back in the day, I got it for $20.

And at 4:30, he is depressed. It's the lowest mood you can obtain in the game, and he won't respond to almost anything you do.

It could have been a depressant, or it could have made him sick. He looked like he got poisoned after eating it. That was the assumption I made when I first played this game.
