  • the master.

  • i lykkkk adoruuuuu very gooody

  • i saw him this summer what great show!! also he is very funny as well.

  • nice to see people enjoying them selvs in front of a great artist

  • @TheDennyDeefella well said !!

  • @Deanread if i would have been there you wouldnt have heard colin lol

i love this song. if you dont sing along at a gig regardless to how intimate the venue then why are you there?????

  • Your singing again, stop it!

  • Brilliant!

  • It's all good.

  • j adore bravo

    que de souvenirs

  • The moron singing along the entire time pretty much ruins it - let's be honest. What a shitehead. Go see a great musician and then sing loudly so as to not hear him singing - you stupid prick whoever you are singing louder than friggin Colin!

Great show --- should have punched the dickhead singing where you were trying to get a recording --- am I wrong here? sheesh

  • The guy probably paid a small cover --- it's a bar for chrissake. If he were in a stadium, yell as loud as you want --- but in a personal little setting like this - the other people have rights too, eh? Like, to hear the killer musician and not the drunk turd.

  • Granted ... the crowd singing is rubbish in this vid.. Regardless of size of venue Colin always encourages the crowd to sing ... He has all the times of seen him anyway.

  • i seen him in glasgow on thurs. brilliant! am thinking about coming down to largs to see him again........ he's like a singing billy connelly

  • im going 2 see him in largs this weekend :D

  • this is pure class!

  • what a fucking quality!!!

  • Where is he playing here if I can ask? That is, where in Belfast?

    Many thanks.

  • it was in the basement at the Madison hotel on Botanic Avenue in Belfast. its a great venue !!! :-)

  • Thanks very much for that, I didn't know they had a basement.

  • where is colin hay from?

  • scotland but he moved to australia in his teens

  • Awsome, hes a good singer / guitar player

  • Just wanted to add, I love the way Colin coaches the audience at the end...."Now slow it down a it here" LOL, This vid makes me smile all over, Thank you again.

  • I don't think I could NOT sing if it were me LOL LOL

heck at least the dude singing and filming this could carry a bit of a tune *smile* He must be a true fan,

    thanks for sharing this vid

  • Nice capture!

  • that sounded like fun dude

  • COOL

  • he has the most beautiful voice ever ^_^

    looooove yah

  • Saw MAW in 1982 this song brings back some great memories. They broke up too soon.

  • could have done without the singalong of the guy with this cam lol...would rather hear Colins sexy voice...he is a dream :)

  • "Shite!" What a great word.

  • Man i hate it when you really wanna see a video clip of a live song and some wing-nut is standing next to the camera "singing" along and drowning out what i'm supposed to be hearing.

Next time shut the fuck up.

  • Very much in agreement...

  • fucking A

  • He is at a gig, people are supposed to sing along and have fun. the guy paid good money to see the show not to stand idle so someone can record it on his phone.

  • thanks for your comments ... SIng Sing Sing :-)

  • Is it really Colin Hay? Or Silvio Berlusconi LoL

  • god i wish i was there i live in belfast

  • i was sitting in the pub when he sang and the whole room enjoyed the song and Colin is real as real.

  • BULLSHIT

  • Ah, that could have been good, but there's always some asshole near the camera singing (terribly).

  • Ouch that hurts :-) I shouldn't have got drunk

  • Hahaha. My bad! I meant "...regardless of how beautiful their angelic voice was."

  • hahaha :-) No Problem at all

  • its cool in a small venue like this one

  • you are an asshlole people gettn' their groove on.ya prick!

  • Colin Hay has an awesome voice.

  • Colin Hay kicks ass. Listening to this song really brings back memories of some good days when I was a kid. I liked Men At Work a lot back then but I think I enjoy their music even more now.

  • Same here, I used to listen to overkill a lot. Men at Work is a great.

  • I saw Men at work in 83.very polished act.always been a fan of colin hay.his new stuff is great too.keep rockin col.

  • Man, Colin Hay seems like a great performer and entertainer. It might sound obvious to most of you that he is, but I haven't really seen many enjoyable performers in a way Colin Hay does it.

Thanks for the video and I noticed your singing too. :)

  • very good video, im from Banbridge myself, sum 20 odd miles away and i regret not even hearing about him being there :P

although my first insight to colin hay was through scrubs. its amazin to think a guy like that cud make it onto an amazing show like scrubs aswell, he deserves it =]

and also gota say . . .the cameraman in this video aint to bad of a singer :P kept in tune most of the time :D

  • Cheers for the comment on the singing ... maybe if i'd kept off the alcohol i'd have nailed it :-)

  • mint

  • ps this performance was awesome. heaps of fun

  • where i heard it too

  • shame to say i first heard it on scrubs but its GREAT!

  • lol me3 i left this coment on another over kill vid this songs awesome. I cant beleive im Aussie and havent heard this, only heard it thru scrubs, since i heard it (bout 2 weeks ago) i sing it every day learn to play it to pretty simple........heaps better than "land down under" too (altho thats kool)

  • Man i love that song i heard it first on a episode of scrubs!! LOVE IT!

  • Man I didnt know Colin was playing. Brilliant Singer/Songwriter. I'm pissed that I missed him now!

  • Hopefully Colin is doing some more UK + Ire dates towards the end of 2007.. i've got my fingers crossed !!!

  • Yeh but why 'Nashville'? Nashville has nothing to do with Belfast.

  • Nashville is also a style of country music (wikipedia will give you a more indepth explaination) hence the festival in belfast

  • Ah, had no idea Nashville was a genre, thanks for explaining.

  • Belfast 'Nashville'?

  • Yeap, Its the Belfast Nashville Festival held once a year. I had an amzing time, Saw acts from all over the world ... search on google for next years event. i'll be going

  • Solo is better than the sum of the parts.

  • very sorry but it couldn't be helped. I suppose I'll have to invest in a better camera for next time :-)

  • Ahhh! Smart Lad!

  • Yeah its a good song, but why have you cut out a verse?? you see it jump and all :S

  • I didn't cut out a verse intentionally. Even though I have a 2 gig memory card, My canon camera only records for a short time so i had to paste 2 clips together :-) the same goes for most of the video footage i took that night.

  • such a good song, really loving it

  • thanks for sharing, but you wouldn't happen to have any Bap Kennedy videos? He's my favorite singer at this point.

  • I really don't believe I missed a Colin Hay gig so close to home. Damn shame, really.

  • didnt even know he was over here, ragin i missed it. Great vid mate, nice joke at start.

  • It was certainly a night not to be missed
