@waldenhouse Record companies in those days generally required their artists to lip sync on those TV shows, so that people viewing can hear the record as it is on the album, and be swayed accordingly in the direction of the album, as opposed to being dissuaded against buying the album by a less than polished version. It still occurs. Seems a little hypocrytical in light of that Q awards Madonna lip sync attack, but I guess live on stage it's a somewhat different story.

Disappointed - EJ always maintains he's not a "lip singer" - and here this proves he's a phony. Sad but True. Nice song though.
