I really think this is the car for Land rover to win over "HEART AND MIND" of the next generation buyers. It has to, or the brand will become old and die !! the so called baby boomer is retiring and we all are getting older everyday. Car makers know that too !!! so dont tell me about all the "TRADITIONAL LAND ROVER" CRAP !!! GET REAL, MATE!!! By the way, this baby is so damn GORGEOUS !!! I would love to have one !!! If Land Rover wants to get back on its feet they need to get the TRUE rover owners involved. This crap with "mood lighting" chases the enthusiasts away. What they want is something exciting, something like the land rover of the 80's and 90's. Give us a defender, or a Defender/disco blend. GIVE US SOMETHING THAT WILL BE LIKE THE DEFEDER OR DISCO OFF ROAD! Forget the soccer moms and mall goers, they wont save Land Rover. People who actaully care about LR will!

they do sell it, i dont know if they sell it in the US, but the Defender is on sale here...the new model is nice, but i preffer my old 1992 model 110 SW
You won't see anything new from LR in 2008, look for something new in the 2009 MY. I think the car looks interesting, the interior is really sharp - esp the lighting. That speaker should polish his presentation - too many umms, and ahhhs.
roverjj - Seeing that his job is to manage the design of the range of car for land rover as the design director. i don't think his video presentation speaking skills are really whats important in his day to day job. i mean if his speaking skills were excellent but the the LRX looked like a 20 year old skoda on hiked up suspension then i would have a problem in him not fulfilling his role in this presentation!!!!
