A few months back, there was a link just below the video that either said, "HQ" or "HD" depending on the video type and which now have been replaced by the buttons in the player.

oh .. i see .. you were telling me there used to be a link for hd before there were buttons.

that's interesting.

i was confused cos i was saying YouTube had removed the buttons then put them back again - for some unfathomable reason.

+ i'm having trouble loading HQ to YT today, which i had no problem doing a couple of days ago. HD is still loads into YT fine.

I guess YT are still messing with how they deal with this stuff.

I like it in HD.

There is no more HD link, but an actual button on the VCR controls toolbar. HD is the 3rd icon on the left on the VCR controls bar.

the HD button i was referring to has returned. .. (the clue was the bubble saying "click HD" pointing to where the HD button should be. - third on the right).

i dunno what the HD link is you're referrin to .. maybe that'd be useful next time YT takes away the HD button.

It is really cool. It did take a while for the HD version to load, but once it did, it was so much cooler. Good work, mate.
