@ecoherbalism Make this the last comment, i work out quite frequently, you must don't. You will get hurt even quicker trying to "half ass" an exercise.
@MrDroberts24 HAHA are you being sarcastic? NEVER fully extend your arms when working out. ever heard of hyperextention? Do you know what is in your elbows? Its common sense these days. Google it before you comment dumb shit.
Strong guy, but he should think about arching his back more and squeezing his glutes on the press up. Also, keep his feet stable in one position flat on the ground... that way he won't need to lift his ass off the bench.
wow yeah locking out with 405 pounds is insane his form is perfect and well dude ur 16 you should just leave it up to the adults luke and no offense even though you do bench more than i do but go play in the sandbox lol
who cares what you do... who cares what i do or anyone does.. we are here to see this guy bust out some serious weight he doesnt bounce or raise his butt of the bench the form is perfect the cleanest ive seen especially considering 405 x 10 exlnt!
Some smaller issues to deal with forst of all. One, He doesn't lock out 1-9. Second, He is training on a small bar which increases the amount he can throw off his chest. Thirdly, he has got a lot of power there and with a great coach and hard work he can develop his strength into a powerlifting champion... maybe.
I just attended my first powerlifting meet. I have ten times more respect for the sport. At that competition I lifted a hard 365 pause. I'm only 16 and in the HW category. I expect to be a lot stronger. Just missed 385. Couldn't lock out my left elbow. But yes, the bar I used was the same size as the one in the video. I apologize for my incorrect assumptions. You know what 'they' say about assuming.
OK let me understand this...you rag on this guy's flawless 405 x 10 set, yet subsequently you boast about your 365 x 1 lift?
I never cease to be amused by teenage blabbermouths that are about two years into puberty, yet somehow feel that they are authorities on anything. Go pop a zit and leave the intelligent discussion to the adults...
hey politics boy..go beat off to your governor. i bet you have some intelligence..only on the discussion of how your a fucking loser who is a joke in life that should get the piss beat out of him.
Locking out while lifting for reps w/ anything more than 225lbs. is the quickest way to tear up your joints. Remember muscle grows from pain, joints are destroyed by it. This dudes form is flawless. Just my two cents.
Shirts are for people who have need of assistance off the chest.
Using a shirt is not a smart move, unless you have the raw unequipped record. Then by all means go and get the equipped record. I know a lot of people are equipped but, I just can't see the strength improvement gained by wearing a shirt, it's just not natural. I'm sorry if my opinion offends anyone. I realize you are WAY stronger than me more than likely.
HAH FAIL HE HAD A BENCH SHIRT IN THE END LOOK HOW HE WALS...

You're looking at the angle, it's not a small bar. Look at his raw 525 and see straight on. There was some more room for lock out, agreed.

Tony can probably hit 600 w/ shirt, recently he popped 495 x2 raw and also 525 raw. He is f'ing insane with power!

Nothing agaist guys who compete and wear triple ply bench shirts to hit 600 and 700lbs but 405 for 10 raw is some crazy weight I give this dude that.
Big Bow-wow
