He's talking about David Horowitz, who USED to be a communist, IN THE 60s, now a conservative working to expose the liberal "progressive" movement that's destroying this country. My point is that Horowitz was on Glenn Beck's show AS A CONSERVATIVE. I don't think this guy is being paid to spread such ignorance, so I guess these were the men that Lenin called "useful idiots."
(--->continued->)but IF fringe elements take that disenfranchisement---> and turn it into violence, THEN we endanger the freedoms we are supposedly all fighting for.
Beck clearly did not state Ron Paul Supporters are terrorists. He stated the contrary - that the reference to Guy Fox is a metaphor. Gotta admit its suprising anyone'd want to refer to their own campaign that way. Intent of the metaphor is : "government is not listening, so shake them up". The "bomb" is a metaphor for something
Ron Paul supporters raised the cash on 11/5 to commemorate Guy Fox (terrorist who plotted to blow up British Parliament)
Paul supporters called the donations "a money bomb". ...the vast majority of Paul supporters take this as it is intended..as a metaphor for a rallying cry to create a dramatic shift. Disenfranchisement ideally leads to political discussion

Is it going to take a couple mushroom clouds to make you and your ilk wake up? I hope to God your more intelligent than this. It is the Muslim worlds aspirations to see our Democracy hanging upside down and destroyed in nuclear fallout...
John Paul condemned the invasions and stated many times that "jihadists" are a tiny fraction of Muslims who distort the majority's beliefs. So your views are an offense to your church. Care to comment?
It's this kind of attitude towards non-americans that incites hatred towards us. Get off your god damn high horse. Muslims are not terrorists. The government is lying to us about 9/11. Ronald Reagan was the devil.
Sir, I deeply respect your comments and support keep it up, and ignore those who judge out of ignorance. Your intelligence has been demonstrated in this video. Great Job, I am happy to see you feel the same as we all do.

The Muslim community is looking to buy enough time with Ron Paul in office so the Iranians can finish their top secret nuclear program and smuggle a handful of nukes into the USA and Israel and simultaneously blow them up. Fuck Jihadism and I am going to be personally killing muslims the day this happens.
You sir, promote neither Christian or American values. Why blog a site promoting peaceful values with this confused rhetoric. It's your right I suppose. But, I guess this is a prime example as to why the neo-fascist-cons think the majority are as easily controlled as the duped minority. Good luck with all that. I hope your personal-jihad goes really well.
Watch the terrorists [in this video link] in action at Beck's recent book signing. If Glenn Beck's tour goes through Texas, there will be plenty of us 'terrorists' there eager to get our book signed and voiced heard by this Neocon traitor. God bless RON PAUL!
way to go obaidkarki! There is nothing wrong with peace, although you wouldn't be able to tell that by what is on T.V.. Right now we have a
war on drugs
war on gun ownership
war on poverty
war on illiteracy (see psychoknights)
war on terrorism
The neo con agenda is a perpetual state of war. RP will try to repair as much as he can. Remember, WE are the government. WE can still take it back. but time is almost up.
(chuckles) So how exactly am I fighting against the inability to read and write. I'm not objecting; I'm rather proud to hear that I am waging a war against illiteracy, I'm just suprised that I didn't know anything about it.
I made this (joke) comment before having had the discussion that we have been having. The only thing I had to go on was you not knowing the diff. between a host and a guest. Now I can see that you are reasonably intelligent, and it baffels me how you don't see this "war on terror" as a war of terror used to take away you freedoms and distroy your country.
WE were the government before our government became a corporation. Now, we are mere collateral for a bankrupt corporation which we must now maintain to keep afloat.
Ron Paul understands our situation and Ron Paul knows how to fix it BUT the powers that be will never allow it. This was their plan all along.
The time has come to prepare for the next phase, there is little time remaining.

3. His host is an ex-commie, not a current one. Paul supporters keep missing this so I stress this point. He was raised by his parents to be a commie spy and he turned his life around, did a 180 as Beck put it, and became a conservative. That is why Beck asked him on his show to discuss his childhood and the decisions he made from that point on. To say that Beck is a commie is to admit complete ignorance about him and his positinos.
glenn is the host. but his guest was a registered communist, a marxist. He is now a regestered republican, self admitted neo-con, and has not changed his political philosophy. both communism and the neo-cons are trotskyites. just like glenn who shills for the neo con agenda. do some research. listen to less people like glenn, bill and sean....and learn to research for yourself.
As far as my comments about the ex-commie, I meant to refer to the Beck's guest, not Beck himself. My bad.
You are demonstration profound ignorance by saying that neo-cons and trotskyites are the same. You need to research both terms. Trotskyites are for the people (or by extension the government) seizing power from the capitalits and taking control of manufacturing and all other resources.
They also encourage international working class unity. Neo-conservative thought does hold considerable sway in the modern Republican party, but not all Republicans ascribe to it. Neo-conservatism tends to put eschew infringing on capitalism and hold a more nationalistic anti-socialistic viewpoint.
"Neo-conservative thought does hold considerable sway in the modern Republican party, but not all Republicans ascribe to it."
The majority of Republicans NEVER ascribed to it. Their party was hijacked by the neocon fascist rats and--thanks to them--it is coming apart at the seams.
Trotskyism is a militaristic disposition. But I did enjoy reading your cut and pasted answer. Convince my political science profs. that I don't know what I'm talking about and maby you could get my graduating 3.8 gpa knocked down. Trotskyism is foundational in neoconservitism. Can you say "pre-emptive" war?
Wow! You have a 3.8? That must mean everything you say is correct. The .2 you average higher than me probably makes you a billion time more qualified than me to speak on political topics.
Assuming your professors agree with you, that wouldn't really surprise me. Universities are astoundingly liberal and it is unsurprising that your lib teachers would enjoy discrediting conservatives as having the same roots as socialism.
No I am not allways correct. Yet I know enough of how to play the education game to get a 3.8.. Conservitism is not the same thing as neo conservitism. Neo conservitsm is closer to communism than socialism. When I went to college in the mid 70's the neo con movement was just getting started. Now it has taken over rep/dem, con/lib. These are false paradigms now used as a divide an conquor tactic of neo conservitism.
Trotskyism is more than just a military disposition, and while there might be a common thread in the feeling of responsibility of liberating the oppressed, there is the major difference that Trotskyism encourages socialism, which despite its aims ends up oppressing people, while neo-conservatism strives for Democracy. Furthermore, it would be an error to say Neo-Cons ascribe to Trotskyism because they agree in one area.
The neo cons refer to Trotsky as the father of the red army. The trotskyesque military philosophies are what the neo cons have adopted. Neo conservatism does not strive for Democracy. Really. You need to do some more reading on this one.
Democrats agree with Republicans that Democracy is good, but the fact that they agree in one area doesn't make Democrats the same as Republicans. Didn't any of your professors teach you about logical fallacies? Did your professors teach you to be cocky and condescending when defending your point without adequately explaining how your opponent is wrong?
You are confusing political parties with political philosophies. Most of the candidates for pres right now are neo cons. It doesn't make a diff. which party they belong to. Two wings of the same bird. Abortion, gay marrage etc. are just diversions and not even Fed. Gov. decisions. Check out CFR memberships of candidates. Sorry for my personality flaws.
I'll respond to the substance of this later, but for the moment let me say that I do not pretend to be abscent a great deal of personality flaws myself. I've tried to keep this conversation lively and heated without being insulting and rude, and I have probably failed in parts. My apologies if I have been rude.
Wow. That makes 2 of us. This is certanly the longest exchange i have had that didnt end ubruptly as the other person started attacking me. (i can come off as a smart ass). But were doing well. and im enjoying it. so. thanks.
Considering the amount of violence and calls for Revolution I have seen from Paul supporters just in response to Beck's comments, I have to agree with Beck.
2. Ron Paul is a reptilian according to other videos on youtube. Look it up. (for those who understand that funny looking eyes do not prove someone is an alien, know that I don't actually believe our nation is controlled by reptillian hoards)
i have not seen first hand any threats of violence from RP supporters, but i dont doubt that there are some waco's in every walk of life. RP revolution is one of non-violence, clearly stated. I'm sure there is much more threats of violence issued to the suspected and imagined victims of this "war on terror" than any real threat to this government.
Reptiles???? better call glenn. that's the kind of "facts" he reports on.
I have read many threats of violence, but I hope it stems from people saying things they don't mean. Regardless of how sincere those words were, they do reveal a real hatred which is troublesome. If you want to see what concerns me, just go to some video criticizing Paul and read the statements from Paul supporters. You will find some, and a lot of calls for locking up those who oppose Paul. (fascism anyone?)
I didn't say reptile, I said reptilians and you have no clue what I'm talking about. Of course, that doesn't stop you from lashing out on the subject declaring that "that's the kind of 'facts' he report on.'" Bull crap HeyBudd. Glenn doesn't waste his time on such nonsense.
I don't believe in Reptilians, but Obaidkarki, the gentleman you sympathize with, does. What he believes, as stated the begining of his video, is that all other candidates are reptilians. Reptilians are alien life form which come to inhabit the bodies of humans...or perhaps they form human-like bodies, I don't really know or care, but these are the kind of guys your aligned. Do some research before you respond.
Im fully aware of David Ike and the whole reptilian thing. It's just the kind of thing that would be used to discredit anyone who is engageing in patriotic dissent. Glenn is such a 6 degrees of reptilian propagandist.
I don't even know what your point is here. Are you saying you also argee with the Reptilian thing since your accusing Glenn of being one? Regardless of what you think about it, I think an indiviual's belief that Reptilians exist among us is quite condemning of that person's mental state.
What i'm am trying to say is. David Ike speaks of the neocon agenda. He also speaks of reptiles. People like glenn use the reptile thing to discredit the neocon thing. Reptilian exsistance in the white house is wacko thought, neocon exsistance is fact. People like glenn would propagandize this as anyone who says neocons exsist allso believes in reptilian existance.
1. Glenn Beck does not say that the military should attack Paul supporters. To claim that he does is at best reading a lot of incorrect motivations behind his monologue and at worst a flat out lie. He says that Paul supporters are a symptom of growing unrest in this society and he fears that SOME Paul supporters might be taking the Guy Faux analogy, which Paul supporters came up with, a bit too literaly.
glenn starts out by saying that those in the military take an oath to defend threats both forign and domestic. then goes on to say that RP supporters could become a threat. if that's not a "be on the ready" implication i'll eat my hat. glenn SAYS RP supporters ...guy fox analogy. nov 5th was selected because of the movie "v for vandetta" not guy fox day. of course, only a RP supporter, or someone with facts would know this.
(chuckles) First, "V for Vendetta" was built around the Guy Faux bombing so even if they were just fans of the movie, it amounts thing. Second, unless Beck is wrong in that they referred to it as "a money bomb," then I think it likely that they referring to Guy Faukes.
Yes, Beck does say SOME Paul supporters might become a threat. He has said the same about some Republicans, some Democrats, some Muslims, and some Americans in general. Beck spends most of the segment on two issues, the Guy Faukes analogy and the rising discontent in this nation. Both of those are perfectly legitimate.
Our militarily occupying another country for a multiplicity of reasons is far beyond Ron Paul's expertise, not to mention the further complexities of just yanking our troops out. I guess Saddam Hussein should have continued his tyrant rule, oppression, genocide, the development of dangerous military weaponry, and the funding and training of Islamic militant terrorists and terrorist operations. Ron Paul is a good, moral, Christian man, but his ideas for foreign policy are strange fantasy.
I don't know that I agree with the war in Iraq for strategic reasons nor am I sure it was the wrong choice. What I am sure of is that to pull out would ensure the deaths of millions, destroy any sense of democracy or stability in Iraq, and empower Iran and give them control of a huge middle east monopoly. I have yet to hear a Paul supporter respond to these criticisims. (and I'm not holding my breath)
I don't think so. The war has cost 1.1 million Iraqi lives, and millions more displaced. Violence went down in Basra by 90% after the Brits pulled out. No reason to continue occupation.
Before we went in, there were no terrorist in Iraq. Iraq, just like Iran, is Shia. Totally against terrorism. As we stay in Iraq, terrorist and terrorism increases. Even if we installed a democracy, they would vote in a theocracy. War on terror -- open boarders? 2+2 does not =5. Think man, think.
What do you call the Kurd exterminaion? Where did all the Iraqis who walk into crowds and blow people up come from? Shia does not equate to a lack of terrorism; they may not be with Osama, but there have long been and still are many terrorists in Iraq.
Nice how you ignored both of my last two refutations and took a completly different approach.
I don't see anything that i have not addressed. just point it out. What Kurd extermination are you refering to? the Algiers Pact which were sanctions that drove so many kurds to Iraq and started the de facto civil war there? There are over 30 million Kurds all over the place. Kurds belong to the Shafi school of Sunni Islam, their fight for a place of their own in this world and the fight against that is terrorism to you?
If ANY act of violence is an act of terrorism to you then i can see how you agree with glenn that the founding fathers were terrorists. also our actions in Iraq are terroristic. There is a differance between an act of war and terrorism. its a fine line admittedly, just a point of legality, but a difference all the same.
No one said, except you Paul supporters who keep saying that other people say it, that the Founding Fathers were terrorists. Also, Beck never said it. You are lying on that point.
The founding fathers were motivated by a desire for liberty. For this reason, they said they were forming an independent nation. The Founding Fathers did not show their dissent by blowing up the Britain's ships nor capturin British soldiers and beheading them, nor attacking all the British soldiers in America. Rather, they sent a LETTER, The Decleration of Indepndence, and King George decided to make it a matter of war.
Granted, the F.F. new what was going to happen, but they merely defended themselves, and when they attacked, they attacked soldiers not women and children and non-combatants!! They fought so that other would have freedom not to take it away. I am sick and tired of this moral equivilancy crap that I keep getting from Paul supporters.
The actions of terrorists like Osama and Faukes is nothing like the actions taken by our Founding Fathers other than that they involved violence. To act as if it were is an insult to their memories.
I'm referring to Sudam's genocide against the Kurds where he killed hundreds of thousands of them. There were some Kurds that attacked the Iraqi government, and Iraq of course had the right to respond, but they wiped out entire villages; they didn't target the people responsible, they targeted all Kurds.
We can talk semantics all day regarding whether that is considered "terrorism" or not, but I'm thinking it is. People who express their religious and political views by blowing others up are definitly terrorists by any definition I've ever heard.
1. The Brits are leaving because of public pressure. Al Sadr controls the south, not the Iraqi "govt". His forces slaughtered most of the "insurgents" and "terrorists".
2. Six years of slaughter and mayhem based on the WMD and "imminent threat" lies by our govt, and you want to defend the surge?
3. The vast majority of RP supporters did not donate because it was tied to Guy Faukes, and it had nothing to do with RP's campaign.
4. You're saying RP supporters have violent intentions? Can you offer any other proof aside from naming a fundraising day a money bomb?
5. Beck was obviously trying to paint RP supporters as domestic enemies, and endorsed Horowitz's charge that they have "ties to Islamofascism".
6. It wasn't "Paul's fundraising method". This is just slander. If your intent is to brand RP and his supporters as terrorists, you better be prepared for a lawsuit. You're endangering their lives with these lies.
Regarding the definition of Trotskyism and neo-coservatism, you said very little other than I was wrong, and that their military philosophies were similar. Considering all the differences I pointed out, that was a poor refutation.
10. How am I warring againgt the inability to read and write?
Look, your taking a lot of my time so either start giving more sustanitive responses or this conversation is over.

You say "we don't want a war". BUT, we already have a war that THEY declared on us by creating weapons of mass destruction - which they would have eventually used against us. This is not our war on them. THIS IS THEIR WAR ON US. Ron Paul is clueless when it comes to the war. If we leave unfinished, we're all dead within 6 months - Ron Paul included.
"Thier war on us"?? i think your confused they didn't have weapons of mass destruction, and they were not involved in 911, not to mention they didnt have a navy or an airforce. we faced literally no threat from iraq.
You are a joke. You have bought into the scare tactics that are being sold heavily in the US media. They don't have weapons of mass destruction, and even if they did everyone knows that they have no way of delivering the weapon to the states.
You have been watching too much Fox. You honestly think some Arab's in a cave could penetrate the multi-trillion dollar defence of the United States??? You're crazy.
Plus, these people wouldn't want to destroy america if you would just stay the fuck out of their country. But due to your constant occupation of their land they dislike the US. So expect that next generation of Iraqi and Afghan people to be attacking the US, because the US military is over there, and incidents like the rape and murder of the 14 year old girl and Abu Ghraib. All you are doing over there is strengthening the hatred for you.
Looks like someone has bought the Administration's Propaganda, maybe even went back for "seconds". I tried to see things from your point of view...just couldn't get my head up my butt that far.
I'm coming back to this video in 6 months to reply to your nut job ass and remind you that we should all be dead. Hopefully after you pull your head out of your rear you'll realize that:
1. There are no WMD in Iraq or Iran.
2. If one is ever created by Iran that the most advanced way of getting it here is a donkey cart being loaded on a cargo ship...10 years after they build the 1st one so it fits on the cart.
The Ron Paul movement is a peaceful revolution through the means of using the system we have now. How dare you compare the supporters if Ron Paul to terrorist who kill children and other innocents.
If you can't connect the analogy of Guy Fawkes to Ron Paul, then you are not too bright.
Paul is wacky for having a foreign policy where other countries take care of their own business, we quit subsidizing dictators w/ foreign aid, we close bases and stop defending nations (like Japan, Germany...), and we stop unconstitutional wars fought without mandated declarations of congress??

Beck clearly did not state Ron Paul Supporters are terrorists. He stated the contrary - that the reference to Guy Fox is a metaphor. Gotta admit its suprising anyone'd want to refer to their own campaign that way. Intent of the metaphor is : "government is not listening, so shake them up". The "bomb" is a metaphor for something
BarclayAvenue 3 years ago
Um what Glen said was this:
Ron Paul supporters raised the cash on 11/5 to commemorate Guy Fox (terrorist who plotted to blow up British Parliament)
Paul supporters called the donations "a money bomb". ...the vast majority of Paul supporters take this as it is intended..as a metaphor for a rallying cry to create a dramatic shift. Disenfranchisement ideally leads to political discussion

way to go obaidkarki! There is nothing wrong with peace, although you wouldn't be able to tell that by what is on T.V.. Right now we have a
war on drugs
war on gun ownership
war on poverty
war on illiteracy (see psychoknights)
war on terrorism
The neo con agenda is a perpetual state of war. RP will try to repair as much as he can. Remember, WE are the government. WE can still take it back. but time is almost up.

HEYBUDD 4 years ago
WE were the government before our government became a corporation. Now, we are mere collateral for a bankrupt corporation which we must now maintain to keep afloat.
Ron Paul understands our situation and Ron Paul knows how to fix it BUT the powers that be will never allow it. This was their plan all along.

4. Listen more Paul supporters, speak less!
PsychoKnights 4 years ago
glenn is the host. but his guest was a registered communist, a marxist. He is now a regestered republican, self admitted neo-con, and has not changed his political philosophy. both communism and the neo-cons are trotskyites. just like glenn who shills for the neo con agenda. do some research. listen to less people like glenn, bill and sean....and learn to research for yourself.
HEYBUDD 4 years ago
As far as my comments about the ex-commie, I meant to refer to the Beck's guest, not Beck himself. My bad.
You are demonstration profound ignorance by saying that neo-cons and trotskyites are the same. You need to research both terms. Trotskyites are for the people (or by extension the government) seizing power from the capitalits and taking control of manufacturing and all other resources.
PsychoKnights 4 years ago
They also encourage international working class unity. Neo-conservative thought does hold considerable sway in the modern Republican party, but not all Republicans ascribe to it. Neo-conservatism tends to put eschew infringing on capitalism and hold a more nationalistic anti-socialistic viewpoint.
PsychoKnights 4 years ago
"Neo-conservative thought does hold considerable sway in the modern Republican party, but not all Republicans ascribe to it."
The majority of Republicans NEVER ascribed to it. Their party was hijacked by the neocon fascist rats and--thanks to them--it is coming apart at the seams.
utjjjbbb 4 years ago
To put it simply, you are wrong.
(laughs) I can't believe you were criticizing me for not thinking for myself. You don't even know what your talking about.
PsychoKnights 4 years ago
Trotskyism is a militaristic disposition. But I did enjoy reading your cut and pasted answer. Convince my political science profs. that I don't know what I'm talking about and maby you could get my graduating 3.8 gpa knocked down. Trotskyism is foundational in neoconservitism. Can you say "pre-emptive" war?
HEYBUDD 4 years ago
PsychoKnights 4 years ago
No I am not allways correct. Yet I know enough of how to play the education game to get a 3.8.. Conservitism is not the same thing as neo conservitism. Neo conservitsm is closer to communism than socialism. When I went to college in the mid 70's the neo con movement was just getting started. Now it has taken over rep/dem, con/lib. These are false paradigms now used as a divide an conquor tactic of neo conservitism.
HEYBUDD 4 years ago
Trotskyism is more than just a military disposition, and while there might be a common thread in the feeling of responsibility of liberating the oppressed, there is the major difference that Trotskyism encourages socialism, which despite its aims ends up oppressing people, while neo-conservatism strives for Democracy. Furthermore, it would be an error to say Neo-Cons ascribe to Trotskyism because they agree in one area.
PsychoKnights 4 years ago
The neo cons refer to Trotsky as the father of the red army. The trotskyesque military philosophies are what the neo cons have adopted. Neo conservatism does not strive for Democracy. Really. You need to do some more reading on this one.
HEYBUDD 4 years ago
Democrats agree with Republicans that Democracy is good, but the fact that they agree in one area doesn't make Democrats the same as Republicans. Didn't any of your professors teach you about logical fallacies? Did your professors teach you to be cocky and condescending when defending your point without adequately explaining how your opponent is wrong?
PsychoKnights 4 years ago
Also, nothing I have said is copy and paste. You can content yourself with believing so, but you will still be wrong.
PsychoKnights 4 years ago
You are confusing political parties with political philosophies. Most of the candidates for pres right now are neo cons. It doesn't make a diff. which party they belong to. Two wings of the same bird. Abortion, gay marrage etc. are just diversions and not even Fed. Gov. decisions. Check out CFR memberships of candidates. Sorry for my personality flaws.
HEYBUDD 4 years ago
I'll respond to the substance of this later, but for the moment let me say that I do not pretend to be abscent a great deal of personality flaws myself. I've tried to keep this conversation lively and heated without being insulting and rude, and I have probably failed in parts. My apologies if I have been rude.

PsychoKnights 4 years ago
i have not seen first hand any threats of violence from RP supporters, but i dont doubt that there are some waco's in every walk of life. RP revolution is one of non-violence, clearly stated. I'm sure there is much more threats of violence issued to the suspected and imagined victims of this "war on terror" than any real threat to this government.
Reptiles???? better call glenn. that's the kind of "facts" he reports on.
HEYBUDD 4 years ago
I have read many threats of violence, but I hope it stems from people saying things they don't mean. Regardless of how sincere those words were, they do reveal a real hatred which is troublesome. If you want to see what concerns me, just go to some video criticizing Paul and read the statements from Paul supporters. You will find some, and a lot of calls for locking up those who oppose Paul. (fascism anyone?)
PsychoKnights 4 years ago
I didn't say reptile, I said reptilians and you have no clue what I'm talking about. Of course, that doesn't stop you from lashing out on the subject declaring that "that's the kind of 'facts' he report on.'" Bull crap HeyBudd. Glenn doesn't waste his time on such nonsense.
PsychoKnights 4 years ago
I don't believe in Reptilians, but Obaidkarki, the gentleman you sympathize with, does. What he believes, as stated the begining of his video, is that all other candidates are reptilians. Reptilians are alien life form which come to inhabit the bodies of humans...or perhaps they form human-like bodies, I don't really know or care, but these are the kind of guys your aligned. Do some research before you respond.
PsychoKnights 4 years ago
Im fully aware of David Ike and the whole reptilian thing. It's just the kind of thing that would be used to discredit anyone who is engageing in patriotic dissent. Glenn is such a 6 degrees of reptilian propagandist.
HEYBUDD 4 years ago
I don't even know what your point is here. Are you saying you also argee with the Reptilian thing since your accusing Glenn of being one? Regardless of what you think about it, I think an indiviual's belief that Reptilians exist among us is quite condemning of that person's mental state.
PsychoKnights 4 years ago
What i'm am trying to say is. David Ike speaks of the neocon agenda. He also speaks of reptiles. People like glenn use the reptile thing to discredit the neocon thing. Reptilian exsistance in the white house is wacko thought, neocon exsistance is fact. People like glenn would propagandize this as anyone who says neocons exsist allso believes in reptilian existance.
HEYBUDD 4 years ago
PsychoKnights 4 years ago
glenn starts out by saying that those in the military take an oath to defend threats both forign and domestic. then goes on to say that RP supporters could become a threat. if that's not a "be on the ready" implication i'll eat my hat. glenn SAYS RP supporters ...guy fox analogy. nov 5th was selected because of the movie "v for vandetta" not guy fox day. of course, only a RP supporter, or someone with facts would know this.
HEYBUDD 4 years ago
(chuckles) First, "V for Vendetta" was built around the Guy Faux bombing so even if they were just fans of the movie, it amounts thing. Second, unless Beck is wrong in that they referred to it as "a money bomb," then I think it likely that they referring to Guy Faukes.
PsychoKnights 4 years ago

PsychoKnights 4 years ago
I don't think so. The war has cost 1.1 million Iraqi lives, and millions more displaced. Violence went down in Basra by 90% after the Brits pulled out. No reason to continue occupation.
NegrodamusX 4 years ago 2
Violence went down before the Brits left. That is part of the reason they left.
Since the U.S. troop surge went into effect, violence in Iraq has gone down.
PsychoKnights 4 years ago
Before we went in, there were no terrorist in Iraq. Iraq, just like Iran, is Shia. Totally against terrorism. As we stay in Iraq, terrorist and terrorism increases. Even if we installed a democracy, they would vote in a theocracy. War on terror -- open boarders? 2+2 does not =5. Think man, think.
HEYBUDD 4 years ago
What do you call the Kurd exterminaion? Where did all the Iraqis who walk into crowds and blow people up come from? Shia does not equate to a lack of terrorism; they may not be with Osama, but there have long been and still are many terrorists in Iraq.
Nice how you ignored both of my last two refutations and took a completly different approach.
PsychoKnights 4 years ago
I don't see anything that i have not addressed. just point it out. What Kurd extermination are you refering to? the Algiers Pact which were sanctions that drove so many kurds to Iraq and started the de facto civil war there? There are over 30 million Kurds all over the place. Kurds belong to the Shafi school of Sunni Islam, their fight for a place of their own in this world and the fight against that is terrorism to you?
HEYBUDD 4 years ago
If ANY act of violence is an act of terrorism to you then i can see how you agree with glenn that the founding fathers were terrorists. also our actions in Iraq are terroristic. There is a differance between an act of war and terrorism. its a fine line admittedly, just a point of legality, but a difference all the same.
HEYBUDD 4 years ago
No one said, except you Paul supporters who keep saying that other people say it, that the Founding Fathers were terrorists. Also, Beck never said it. You are lying on that point.
PsychoKnights 4 years ago
The founding fathers were motivated by a desire for liberty. For this reason, they said they were forming an independent nation. The Founding Fathers did not show their dissent by blowing up the Britain's ships nor capturin British soldiers and beheading them, nor attacking all the British soldiers in America. Rather, they sent a LETTER, The Decleration of Indepndence, and King George decided to make it a matter of war.
PsychoKnights 4 years ago
Granted, the F.F. new what was going to happen, but they merely defended themselves, and when they attacked, they attacked soldiers not women and children and non-combatants!! They fought so that other would have freedom not to take it away. I am sick and tired of this moral equivilancy crap that I keep getting from Paul supporters.
PsychoKnights 4 years ago
The actions of terrorists like Osama and Faukes is nothing like the actions taken by our Founding Fathers other than that they involved violence. To act as if it were is an insult to their memories.
PsychoKnights 4 years ago
I'm referring to Sudam's genocide against the Kurds where he killed hundreds of thousands of them. There were some Kurds that attacked the Iraqi government, and Iraq of course had the right to respond, but they wiped out entire villages; they didn't target the people responsible, they targeted all Kurds.
PsychoKnights 4 years ago
We can talk semantics all day regarding whether that is considered "terrorism" or not, but I'm thinking it is. People who express their religious and political views by blowing others up are definitly terrorists by any definition I've ever heard.
PsychoKnights 4 years ago
The points I mentioned that you haven't responded to are as follows.
1. Brits left after violence had gone down in the areas they patorled, not after.
2. Violence decreased after the troop surge, if our presence creates violence, then why did violence go down?
3. Choosing V for Vendetta as a fundraising ploy amounts to the same thing as using Faukes.
PsychoKnights 4 years ago
If I may interject:
3. The vast majority of RP supporters did not donate because it was tied to Guy Faukes, and it had nothing to do with RP's campaign.
utjjjbbb 4 years ago
4. The money bomb comment proves they were refering to Faukes.
5. Beck says some Paul supporters might become a problem, but he says that about lots of groups. It doesn't mean he condemns them all.
6. Beck's questioning of Paul's fundraising methods is perfect legit.
PsychoKnights 4 years ago
You're endangering their lives with these lies.
utjjjbbb 4 years ago
7. Some Paul supporters do make violent comments.
8. You responded to the reptilian thing, but it wasn't coherent. If you had a point, it wasn't clear.
PsychoKnights 4 years ago
Regarding the definition of Trotskyism and neo-coservatism, you said very little other than I was wrong, and that their military philosophies were similar. Considering all the differences I pointed out, that was a poor refutation.
10. How am I warring againgt the inability to read and write?
Look, your taking a lot of my time so either start giving more sustanitive responses or this conversation is over.
