very helpful! I am going to attempt this once it stops raining here in Louisiana! But I am a girl and have managed to get the door panel off already, but what other tools will I need besides a phillips and a torx 20 ? I am not sure what tool I will need to get the regulator off with. Please help. Thanks
Outstanding!! Many thanks for a great walk through on a daunting DIY repair. Your time and kindness is greatly appreciated and has save many of us thousands in repair bills.
Thanks, I just installed the kit on my broken window and it worked great. Your video was very helpful. I did the trim a bit differently, but it all worked out well. I did have a mystery piece left over but when I watched the end of part 3 you showed where the little black plastic rectangle goes. Thanks!
Thank you so much. It means a lot to me to be able to fix my 5 series myself. It's a solid car, and one i feel could last me a good few years beyond it's current mileage of 150,000. Vids like this make it easier to maintain this fine car.
Brilliant,i have a bmw 318 tds with a broken mechanism on the front n/s door, this has given me just what i needed to take it off and mend the trouble.i feel the bolt that attaches the window to the mechanism must have come out, because i felt something drop and when i tried winding up my window it just won't go up, and it was raining, you can imagine, but thanks for the post.
