  • BUENISIMO.....

  • ottimo ......

  • muy buen trabajo , te felicitoyo e querido conseguirme noa barrenadora en mexico pero estan muy caras..

  • I liked, es muy bueno e ingenioso.

  • Looks like some quality work to me. I had even considered getting into this line of work. I have a friend who does this stuff. Thing is, I'm about 800 miles from where he lives, otherwise I'd hit him up for some advice and training. Oh well...

  • Just come across line boring for the first time. Seems like an excellent job. Thanks for sharing your video. I have one question though, is there any need to chamfer the bore for fitting the bushings or do you normally just clean them up by hand?

  • Looks like a top quality job. How many operating hours would you expect the machine to do before it all needs doing again?

  • Well done! I am impressed with what you were able to do especially out in the field.

  • pretty cool setup...

  • Hi mate, what gasless wire have you been using in OZ?

  • @weldpro2012

    NR211

  • Those "4-14's are great.....our company has a couple of them and we love them.

  • Have you ever thought about using a gasless wire...i line bore at a company in Australia and ill film the procedure we go through... i havent seen an electric boring head...we just use hydraulics..pretty impressed with the electric borer..hows it go with grunt tho?? well done mate

  • how long does this typically take? for a generial pivit point on a grader, loader or skidder. thanks

  • @pete359ext you would get all bores, front and back done in a day. Easy.

  • @zaco03 cool looks like a good job but i wouldnt have the patients for it. How well does it pay?

  • @pete359ext pay is good, all depends on how much O/T you want to do, thats where the coins add up.

  • @zaco03 just like every job it all depends on the time your willing to put in to it?

  • Well done.

  • Should be using: innershield wire (no wind probs.), micrometer. insert cutting tools,(not old school braized).

    Apart from that, good job

  • Lol perfectly centered eh? U were tooling the whole in ahahah. U need a dial on that bitch, looks like that bottom hole needed a little flap job too. Shouldn't need a hammer LOL, if my memory is right that bottom hole should be 3 thou clearance

  • @fortmcmurraycash yeah 3 thou clearance is prob original spec. Thats only to make it easier for the odd rough plant mech whos only tool is a sledge hammer. The closer the fit for a pin = longer service periods.

No point having premature wear. He didn't need a dial, tooling in is ok, as he did the full artic, not just one or two bores.

York machine, making it hard for himself already.

  • Do not do what this guy does at 2:20 ..... seriously

  • @osql8 I definantly agree with you.......very very very stupid move putting your hand there during operation around the boring bar and that fact that the cuttings could slice your fingers off!!!!

  • Felicitaciones amigo, desde Guatemala, Exelente trabajo, yo tengo una maquina de esas y hacemos muchas reparaciones de barreno.

    Saludos.

  • Vernier for .001" ?

  • Very cool and informative video !

  • Great vid man

  • Looks like a York Machines, Inc. unit...we've got one we use on stay arms in our shop.

  • This is a York 4-14 machine tools.

  • I'm so damn impressed, good man to know!
