I want to do this part for a theatre production, but i'm a girl. My director would probably allow it though cause none of the guys that would be in the play would be able to hit those notes [ages 14-19]

I thought his did a very good job! The only thing I didn't like about it was the crying thing. Olvier is supposed to be strong willed.

Indeed, those are the directions on the sheet music. When I played Oliver, the director actually made me cry, which I disagreed with, but I now think added to the performance. This one is a VERY nice rendition of the song, heartfelt and moving.

if you sing, you dont just sing, you give it your all and you read into how the person is feeling when he is singing it, and he really did, he showed us all of his emotions, it was brilliant! he could do with working on facial expressions but still amazing!

I don't know why people give you thumbs down. it's not your fault you didn't know. There are several different versions of Oliver! I believe that the original was the musical(play), but there are several musical and non-musical movies, I think. In the musical theatre class that I'm doing it, we're basing it off of one of the musical movies.
