  • yup, when nasa discovered that pens dont work in space they spent tons of money to create the space pen, the russians used pencils.

  • like a baws

  • i am THE COOLEST KID IN CLASS NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • What can we do when it runs out of ink?

  • holla its not with double L D:

  • I'd really like a response to this question. I'm thinking of buying this to use as a standard pen for school. Would I get in trouble for bringing a bullet look-alike object to school? Thanks!

  • @deadmeu I think it would be better to actually ask the faculty.

  • @deadmeu i brought it to school and got a one-day in school suspension, dont do it...

  • can i buy this in national book store in the philippines whats the brand

  • i brought this to school and i got arrested

  • if i actually shot it out of a gun would it work as a real bullet?

  • Um, who writes on oil?

  • @IzzyInc27 I have actually had the inconvenience of trying that once.

  • can you shoot it? :D

  • can i actually shoot this pen out of a weapon, you know "in case of an emergency"

  • Like a bawss

  • CROSS PROMOTION!!!

  • The Russians Used A Pencil...

  • @KalebWinefield The Russians used the Fisher Pen as well.

  • @vat19com I Did Not Know That. Hahaha

  • @KalebWinefield , Or anyone else that has said this for that matter, you are wrong. What if the grapite were to break and get stuck in the machinery? Same goes for the shavings. No way would they allow that to happen. On the other hand, a ball point pen would also work just as well as this this nasa develeped shit.

  • @uBenDovar Actually, NASA had no hand in the development of the space pen. Ballpoint pens are gravity fed, which means they need to be facing tip-down to work properly.

  • @vat19com I am forced to disagree, sir.

  • @uBenDovar A standard ballpoint pen will write "upside down" for a little while, but eventually the ink will sink to the back of the reservoir and stop writing.

  • @vat19com Well, ill check next time in in space, ok?

  • very cool

  • ITS A FREAKIN BULLET THAT WRITES IN OIL!!!!!!

  • A pen thats looks like a bullet and it can write under water i might buy it and it looks like it could be a tactical pen too.

A tactical pen is a pen that can be used as a self defence weapon like a knife but more legal if you didnt know.

  • a pen for $25?

  • @avatarlord16 correction. an EPIC pen for $25.

  • cool!

  • Like a boss

  • can u refill it with regular ink cartridges?

  • @RedMagnumGuy You can purchase the proper cartridges at most office supply stores.

  • im thinking of buying one does the cartridge last long?

  • @whodamanofcodwaw Yes, actually. A single cartridge will last a very long time.

  • @vat19com i just ordered one and it is very very nice thank you sooo much this thing is awesome everyone should get one

  • put it in a gun :O

  • my friends got 1

  • Im going to try it in space.

  • @heroFANtom how the heack did u want to do that?

  • @asyasb94 secret. >:D

  • Just bought this pen with some other stuff and it came right when needed and looks awesome! cant wait to give this to my brother on christmas! thanks Vat19!!

  • @Lax0Dude Awesome! We hope hope he likes it!

  • @vat19com I took the cap and made it into a real bullet, and it is AWESOME

  • Where can i buy blue refill?

  • 7 people got shot by a .375 Caliber.

  • Can this pen be fully submerged for along period of time? How deep can it go under water without breaking and would it rust?

  • @BrawlLawl Brass doesn't rust, and yes, it can be fully submerged.

  • I don't think I'd be able to use this at school XD

  • like a boaws

  • Is it refillable ?

  • @MrPCFreak5555 Yes, we sell the refills on the site.

  • Its illegal to have empty bullet shells in Malaysia

  • what it i put i in a fake gun and wen i pull the trigger it pops out and when i cock it it goes back in

  • Jose Rizal said the pen is mightier than the sword

  • @TheFrocken98 sounds like it!!!

  • can this be shipped to somewhere where firearms are illegal?

  • @millioner Yes, as it is not able to be used with any firearms.

  • How tall is this pen?

  • @davding202 thats what she said

  • 0:48 SPAAACE :D

  • lol they say that space actually has a smell. it smells like this pen, actually.

  • Like A Boss ! lol

  • @ultimatesonicfanful1 :likeaboss:

  • Pink Floyd? playing when you talk about how it writes in space?

  • Just don't bring it with you on an airplane. TSA will give you hell.

  • if i fully submerge this in water would it get filled with water, or will it rust? Please answer

  • @KingLoop13 It can write underwater, so it is fairly waterproof. You would still want to dry it off though after doing so.

  • When America was faced with the problem of pens not being able to write in space, they created one that could do that AND write underwater and upside-down. When Russia was faced with the same probem, they used a pencil.

  • @SexinessIsMine Not only is that not true, but it's inexcusable when you have the vast wealth of knowledge known as the Internet at your very fingertips.

  • @vat19com It's only a joke. My one friend found that somewhere, and I thought it was funny. I never really cared if it was true because I'm not trying to teach people. It was just for a laugh.

  • @SexinessIsMine Wow,go on wikipedia and quit being so ignorant.

  • @swordsmanruler Jeez, sorry. Like I said, it's only a joke. Can't you just let people laugh at it or are people no longer allowed to tell jokes anymore?

  • @SexinessIsMine Sorry, I am a child molester. :P

  • @swordsmanruler Welp, this conversation just went downhill, haha.

  • Do you think this would be safe to bring to school because i would not want to get suspended because of a pen lol.

  • @BourbonBalls1 I wouldn't recommend it.

  • How much is it?

  • @86223ripped $24.99 Plus shipping

  • Can it actually be fired from a gun?

  • @iLLogickal Nope.

  • @iLLogickal most.. illogical

    XD

  • so lets say i need to snipe somebody, and i have no ammunition. can i break out my pen?

  • LOL at 1:04 "the bullet pen handles it LIKE A BOSS"

  • Didn't know they said "like a boss" in 2009.

  • @SBAnimaniacs I recall people saying it back in the 80s, but it wasn't really a big deal until Reddit made it popular again.

  • Can you replace the ink cartridge?

  • @ZOMGZombie64 Yes, the ink cartridge is replaceable.

  • Hey Vat19 why did you lie???????

THAT WAS FAKE SNOW . . . Need proof?

    0:44

  • @2010HaloGod It's not really a "lie" as much as it is a "set". It wasn't snowing when we filmed this, so yes, we did use artificial snow. However, that does not mean that the pen does not do what it is claimed to.

  • @2010HaloGod your an a ss becaus they wanto tell you you can wright im cold weather

  • needs to be sharper

  • LIKE A BOSS.

  • why are you guys so awesome?!

  • Yeah.. like a BOSS

  • i have one of those pens lol

  • My friend Matt has a regular space pen, OMG! In class he'll be like, "Don't touch SPACE PEN!" And he lost it and said, "Where's space pen!!??" and started fake crying.

  • you guys should include the price in these adds

  • Damn. I doubt my country will allow such awesome thing due to real bullet rounds used on the bottom of the pen.

  • @larvc The casings are real but there is absolutely no functionality remaining in the bullet. We've been able to ship these to Singapore, who have notoriously strict regulations.

  • @vat19com SERIOUSLY?? SHIP TO SINGAPORE???

  • @duocore2xtra Yep. That's what I said.

  • @vat19com Wow!

  • @larvc alright, i'll see what i can do in order to ship this to my country. appreciated ^^

  • awesome! now i can write... IN SPACE

  • 0:34 while america was spending millions on a pen. the Russians spent little money on a thing called a pencil :D

  • @ViaLaBam25 You know that that's just an urban legend, right?

  • i write underwater LIKE A BOSS Y U MAKE AWUSUM PRODUCTZ

  • for the kids... IF u get this pen DO NOT BRING IT TO SCHOOL!! :P

    not sayin i did

  • LIKE A BOSS

  • like a boss? kewl

  • can it be used as a bullet

  • Why didnt the astronaughts just use a pencil? Btw I like the pen. :)

  • @BugTownBuggly Every sharpened a pencil or used its eraser? Imagine all those little flakes hovering around an extremely sensitive cockpit in zero gravity.

  • @vat19com Oh now I see your point thanks! :)

  • @vat19com Mechanical pencil...

  • @ShiningSilverwind The tips break off of mechanical pencils all the time, and they still leave eraser flakes. I think you need to appreciate exactly how sterile such environments need to be to operate safely.

  • @BugTownBuggly I got the answer for that question in a movie called "3 Idiots" :3

  • pencil is better than any pen !!

  • Hmm, how come rumors make top comments and the truth can't? Both Russians AND Americans used the pencil until it was deemed unsafe do to floating led and sharpeners. A private pen company, named Fisher, invested his own hard earned cash to make it. It is today used by the Americans AND Russians.

  • @Taxarod Flase, it was a private company, and pencils are dangerous to use in space, as sharpeners and floating broken led can be a problem. Russians were also looking for a new way to write in space, and today they use the Space Pen.

  • HOLLA

  • do you sell refils at vat19.com

  • @ps3Gamer23100 We sure do! The .375 Caliber Bullet Pen will accomodate a standard Fisher Pressurized Ink Cartridge.

  • do you sell them in other shells ? id love to see a 338 ...

  • will it blend?

  • or use a pen in space

    works too

  • @badog109 pens don't work in space becuase there is no gravity :O why didn't they just use a pencil? because it dosn't look as cool :P

  • Tungsteb is also known as wolfram

  • Can i refill the pen ?

  • like a boss

  • the Americans spent loads of money investing in a pen that could work in space... the Russians used a pencil.

  • @Th4tBlondKidOverTher I find it amazing that with the wealth of knowledge we have at our very fingertips with the internet that people still believe these ridiculous urban legends.

  • @Th4tBlondKidOverTher first ,not true:second ,pencil lead can break off and get into machinery

  • I really don't see how writing upside down makes a difference..

  • Writin verticle ......Like a bause

  • couldnt you possible change the firing cap into an active cap and beable to fire the thing

  • would i get in trouble 4 taking it 2 school?

  • @DidYouEatMyMonkey no it poses no threat what so ever what are they going to do?

  • @DidYouEatMyMonkey As a former teacher I can tell you that it's not a very good idea. You might want to clear it with the faculty.

  • SOLD! like a boss :)

  • its weosme but... why would i want to write in space xD

  • real shell? can you load it with powder and fire it?

  • @marlo916 Nope. The firing cap at the bottom of the shell is not active.

  • INSTA SNOOOW!

  • Baliyos have the same technology...

  • @superphil92 That's because they use the same Fisher Pressurized Ink system that this pen has.

  • @vat19com You guys should start selling baliyos

  • Try getting though security at the airport with this in your pocket.

  • SPAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCCEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • @SuperDeinVadda core?

  • @MrDip02

did you know the ending scene of Portal 2 ??

    ( the game)

  • @SuperDeinVadda lol thats why i said core

  • 1:08 Writing paper LIKE A BAWSE.

  • But can it be used as emergency ammo during the upcoming zombie apocalypse?

  • Das Baws!

  • @Taxarod Urban legend, actually. A quick Google search will fill you in on why that's not true.

  • i seriously bring this to school

  • how did you think of this?

  • @Taxarod lol you're dumb the pencil was extremely messy and ruined equipment the US used it also until they figure it out how much of a little shit using a pencil will be and now they use the pen -_-

  • the russians just use a pencil

  • @TheEpicCena lol and failed because the eraser and the the lead would get every where and ruin things the US used pencils to until they found out how messy and useless it is -_-

  • @MrDip02 That's right. It's amazing how many people still believe in these ridiculous urban legends when they have the vast wealth of information contained on the internet before them.

  • @vat19com haha very true

  • the russians just use a pencil ^^

  • You can also get ink refills by removing the ink holder and reading it, then following the directions printed on it.

  • if i take this to school will i get in trouble because we all remeber the infamous school accident when those poeple killed the girl named raechel and they banned anything thaty looks and deals with weapons

  • @Taxarod "the US invested 25million on a pen that could write in (blabla....conditions...space)......the russians used a pencil", thats how it's usually phrased

  • Comment removed
