@StevenDunks I started with a mixture of weights and plyometrics because that way I worked on my strength while increasing my reactive ability. It really depended on my schedule but I made sure my legs were getting at least 48 hours of rest.
I am 14 years old and i am 5'9 ft tall, how can i improve my vertical without anything you need to buy? (I mean can i just jump as high as possible and stuff like that and it will help me?)
I'm 12 yrs old and i'm 5'7. My squat max is 190 and i can dunk 9ft almost 9.5. Almost everytime i try dunking on 9.5 i hit rim with the bottom of the ball.
@deerslayr10 You are only 12 and that amazing for your age. Wait a little bit and once you hit your growth spurt you will naturally develop a higher vertical jump as long as you keep practicing what your doing right now.
man just a tech tip get that penultimate fast long and quick and then last two step shorter then your penultimate and also quick also keep your hips high :) just wanted to help you !
@makspthetruth Yeah you should study how other one leg jumpers jump. Granted you will not jump like them and actively thinking about your jump will mess your jump up but still, it's a good idea to do some observation.
@Raptorel At the moment it I can probably rep 315 couple times. my deadlift Im not sure aout because I have not done them in a while. I am primarily focusing on weightlifting right now.
