IMPONTANT PROTIP: Go to the configuration and set the FPS to 60! Not more. Not less. Not unlimited. 60. Then disable VSYNC. (No, you won’t notice. But it helps a lot.)

Did you use screen record software? If so which one/which codec? Techsmith is good but makes massive size files.

@JesseLQ Fraps, and fraps makes huge files too, but they edit fine in sony vegas 9 without added codecs and Vegas can shrink them down easily.

@MtnXfreeride Thanks. I have Fraps, just never use it. Do you pick a codec with it? I've been using on2 with vp6 if it doesn't have to be super HQ. WAY smaller files. About 1MB per 1 minute. Depending on screen size, techsmith will put out almost 1 gig per 1 minute. I'll try Fraps. Thanks

@JesseLQ I just use the defaults for fraps. I do set it to record full frame - not half frame and if my computer cannot handle 1080p recording in a game I set the resolution to 720p for recording. It makes huge files, but I have a 2x640GB RAID 0 setup that can handle the large write speeds.
